Someone in the server called Boodals hammered a vehicle, it went flying and killed like three people before crashing the server, my sides.

Okay, update to roll out today. I fixed the ugly exterior atmosphere and made it more Earth-looking. I've also add the Moon, along with the American flag. I'll be beginning Mars soon and while I've updated the download link to the current save I have, after I bring the next save out with Mars, it won't be updated. The main reason for this is because I'm planning to make a space Fort Wars server and would like it to be exclusive.

It would be helpful if someone could create an Add-On that allows otherwise.

« on: May 22, 2014, 01:42:16 PM »I like that it's a cube and that the terrain on the atmosphere is kinda pixely, seems like a very Blockland planet. I think the exterior would look way better if it were composed of fewer larger land masses with larger expanses of water between them, you know, like Earth.Completely agree with this, I'll be fixing this soon. I'm currently also making some small plates in orbit of the planet, so people can create space stations. I'll be getting onto the Moon as well soon.

« on: May 22, 2014, 01:36:23 PM »That's neat, but the outside looks kinda ugly.Main reason for that was because the original cube was completely blue and I had to delete some of the atmosphere and add green blocks, (I couldn't repaint it because it was no ray-casting) which probably made me not thing too much about it's appearance.

Anyone who has been playing Blockland from it's 2007 release will probably remember the space maps, y'know; the ones that had the planets with the no-clip atmospheres? Well obviously maps are gone now, so I've spent the past day recreating a single planet that brings back the experiences of the classic maps such as "Planets" and "Gliese581."
This save features an Earth-like planet with both ocean and land on the exterior atmosphere, the atmosphere has no collision or ray casting; allowing vehicles or players to land on the physical terrain inside. The interior has both a sky and clouds, plus a 256 x 256 grass terrain for building on, it is also worth mentioning that because the atmosphere has no ray-casting the sun flare casts through.
