Holy jesus, you cannot compare a specific console to a general thing like a PC.  First of all, the Xbox 360 is about the equivalent of a cheap, sorta decent PC.  It is optimised to play xbox 360 games and nothing else.  My PC right now is much faster than an xbox 360.  The only reason to get a game for a console as opposed to a PC is that it is cheaper, NOT more cost effective, but cheaper, and that it is easier to keep a one task console running at a decent speed as opposed to a PC that can run hundreds of programs at once.  It seems that the OP is completely biased against PS3's, which are better than xbox's in literally every way.  1.4x the processor speed, more HDD, a better online network, designed to function like a PC at the cost of a console.  Anyway, get the xbox for when gears of war 3 comes out.

Any situation where someone creates a weapon addon, or any addon with a projectile, usually has a non-packaged collision function.  Many special playertypes do the same thing with arrmor::ontrigger.
Any worthwhile chatmod completely overwrites servercmdmessagesent.
Just a few common examples

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Chat Command GUI
« on: May 09, 2011, 08:34:42 PM »
Guys, read.  I explained it all.  This has been made quite a few times in the past, and it a always a very low quality mod.  The server does not inform the client as to what /commands are valid, and all the commands that would actualy be useful to have as a gui already exist as one.  Have you considered that every time you move or every time you open the player list, or when you scroll through your tools, or every time you click a button in the wrench event gui, you are sending a command to the server?  There are /commands that do all the same things, but it is more convienent to have them keybinded as keys.  All other /commands are custom commands from addons that are not always active in the server.  Please let this thread die, this is a suggestion that does not deserve a finished result.

We might be able to film, if somebody decided to write a script.

I can write a script, what do you need?

Nah... Let's think of something that has nothing to do with crime guns or violence.

I take it that the military operation film is a no now?

if you mean to rewrite a function without using packages, then the original will break.

Nice job, but there are waaaaay too many TF2 builds in blockland. We're in need of variety.

However, the build itself looks very good. Perhaps some more color would be nice, but coloring aside the build looks very accurate and detailed.

There are so many completely different tf2 maps that there is no such thing as a lack of variety.  If we had all these builds without the "tf2" title, there would be no issue.
