Modification Help / Corner doors (JVS)

So, this is something I've been trying to figure out for a while, are corner door bricks possible? I mean, I don't see why not, if wedge bricks are possible/corner bricks, then why wouldn't corner doors be possible? I'm attaching an image for what I want for those who don't understand my description;

Hey guys, so I've been addicted to the stock market recently(recently being the past year), I haven't been making much money, but that's they best part, I've only made money. I sold some of my AMD shares today, and I just bought some Intel shares since they're down a few points, but it should pick up with the new technology they're releasing. I'm going to buy a few Apple shares tomorrow.

The main reason I'm starting this thread is to discuss your strategies on how you work your way around the stock market, your history with certain companies, your advice on what companies to not invest in, any information you have about companies that other members are invested in so as they could either sell or buy more.

Anyway, discuss!

So for the past few hours (maybe 1 hour building, and the other hours me just sitting around not doing anything), I've been working on this city street thing or somethin like that. This was completely made solo. Anyway, I don't feel like typing much so here's the build;

Off Topic / Building new computer - NEED ADVICE BY TONIGHT!! -

So, I've been browsing around at computers, and I decided that going for a hardcore rig right off the line is pointless because I don't want to blow all of my x-mas money right away, so what I decided is to look at barebone kits and then just upgrade as I go. This is currently what I'm thinking of doing, I need your guys' advice as to whether or not the parts are compatible and stuff since I've never done a barebone kit, always custom built parts in store and assembled. So this is what I'm looking at;

Off Topic / Building new computer :D! need advice.

Ohai, so as some of you can remember my laptop died, well I went to the store with my old man last night to look at parts, well one of my buddies who worked there was on shift, so he was helping me out a bit. Well we looked at barebone kits, and I think I found my soul mate of a computer :o

It is a 6 core amd processor
8gig ddr3 ram
Liquid cooling
lovey case
Some other stuff.

And guess what? The kit costs 800$

Its only missing a gpu and a hdd. So, I can get a 250gig or somethin hdd for like 30$ and then a good ati card (forget nvidia *shades*) probably the 5750 or so.

Off Topic / Laptop died :( need new build suggestions.

Welp, after 1.5 years of being a good laptop, it finally died. Thankfully its around x-mas so I can buy a new computer. I'm hoping to build a new one. I just called my dad and told him to return my present, and were gonna talk about it. I'm sad though, my laptop was the first (and currently still) most expensive electronic I bought with my own money (2,200$). I'm hoping to build a desktop computer now, and make it good. I'm posting this off of my phone, so I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could put together a rig for me. This is what I need;

x- it must be under 1,000$
x- it can be either intel or amd
x- it needs at least 4gigs of ram
x- needs fans. Lots of fans
x- the case needs to be able to water cool.
x- preferably quad core, but it doesn't have to be.

I'm going to be doing a lot of hardcore gaming on this, and 3d renders.

 So, I'm finishing up my second semester work within the next month, and my homeschooling program has helped me fill/send out my college application forms, I have applied to;

[X]Arizona State - Dual Major in Business and Interior Design
[X]Southern California University
[X]Columbia, New York
[X]UCLA
[X]Stanford (Yes, I'm serious)
[X]Harvard (Again, I'm serious)


Currently I'm at a credit and grade standing to get accepted to all of the colleges I listed above, I have a 3.96/4 GPA, I got 2,283 on the SAT, ACT scores are as follows;
ACT Composite: 29
ACT English: 31
ACT Math: 27

The only thing that really could prevent me from getting accepted to any of those colleges would simply be my essay portion, I scored awesome on the ACT but I am almost positive I forgeted up on the application one.

Also, I'm def not gonna get into Harvard sadly because of my Math grade, if it were to be a 28 or 29 they may look at it more seriously ):

Anyway, point of this topic, where do y'all brotherz go to college or want to go to college?

(Yes, I am 16, I'm graduating 2 years early, homeschooling and AP courses ftw)

I used to go to Wheaton Warrenville South, and to be honest, I feel bad for the guy. He was a really good teacher, but he was one of those creepers that called hot chicks up to the front of the class :I

I bitched him out in the front of the whole class for calling my girlfriend up and asking her to pick up stuff off the ground and write on the board (she was wearing a skirt and v-neck).


I think he deserves it.

So, there was an old thread like this waaay back when and I know that Swholli made a video response to it, I tried searching it up, but, I couldn't find it, and I remember having a ton of fun seeing what people had. So, anyway I decided that I'm too lazy to upload a ton of pictures and just gave you guys a tour of my bedroom. The quality is decent, but for whatever reason Youtube killed it. I recorded with my phone, which claims it can record in 720p

I need a new monitor, I've been looking around, and, I'm currently debating between a few.

Those are the 2 that I'm looking at currently, I'm hoping to spend under 230$ because I do need to buy a wall mount for the monitor as well as an HDMI cable and I currently have 280$

If anyone manages to find something in the 23-27" range for under 230$ and you know it's quality, has HDMI, doesn't need built in speakers, but, that'd be a plus because I'm going to be hooking up my Xbox 360 into it through the DVI port and then use the speakers built into it for audio.

Note: it HAS to be able to mount onto my wall.

Please, gimme a hand on this guys, I'm not very good at finding monitors for good prices, yet I'm amazing at building high-end rigs for a decent price :/

Off Topic / Its my birthday, now what?

So, as I've been getting older and older, I've been realizing birthdays don't matter what so ever, its just a number to subtract from your life. I felt the same when I was 15 as I do now that I'm 16. I mean, I'm happy, but, I hate having to answer the question of 'What do you want for your birthday' because I never know how to answer it. I could say a pack of gum and some socks, but, apparently you're required to get something of value.

I'm not saying this because I'm a negative starfish (which I am) because I do infact like the life I have, I have a girlfriend, a good family, good grades, and I have a job. I just detest when people spend money on me and etc.

Anybody else like this?
