I have a "relationship" question as well:

I like this girl, and she's friends with people I know. Of course,I've barely ever hung out with them and I really only get close to her when I'm with my friend Sam, who's hung out with those people for a long time. My friend Sam kinda has a thing for her too, but the chances of them "getting together" are as much as mine. To put it in layman's terms:

Sam's is my conduit to the girl. And she really doesn't show compassion to me, but she's not insulting me or being actively mean to me. I'm not exactly the prettiest guy on campus- I've got mild acne(Sam loves to point it out all the time, lol), I've got glasses and braces, I have OCD and some habits, and I'm not in any position to get close to her, because I've got friends I've known for a long time on my end. I'm in a sticky situation.

Help?

Bring it up to her how you feel bro, if you have any chance with her, its better to hop onto it early than when she's taken by someone who couldn't give the same affection as you.

This will be interesting.

HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING, my Dad drinks until he passes out and wastes a lot of our money.  My Mom has talked about divorce but is worried about my Dad's reaction.  Can I do anything to help?

Well, in all honesty, if this were to be my situation, I would report him to the parent services people.


Force them to get a divorce.

And finally see my mother happy again.

I'd say talk to your buddy about it, and see what his opinion is on it.
