Better idea:

Mobile version of forums including servers.

I use the forums on my mobile. Most phones support it, I know that all Android phones do, because I've used; HTC G1 myTouch 3g Slide, Droid Incredible, and, currently on the HTC G2. I am posting this off of it. You can access everything on the forums with it. I can make all ove the text effects, insert emotes etc etc..

As proof that its doable. The easiest way to access forums is to just type in

Blockland.us/smf into the phone browser. It definatly works on Android and iOS (iPhone/iPad).

In regards to the application, its totally possible, you'd just need a way to relay information from the master server to a secondary web-based client, since, I highly doubt Badspot would allow for his domain to be used for this idea. Let me check how the rest of the website works on my mobile, will edit this post once I see.


Edit; yep, everything works, I also tested it on my iPod Touch 4. The iPod didn't allow me to trail over th icons and get server info on the server thing, I had to physically click it, but using the trackpad on the g2 it allowed me to view it. I even went so far as to begin the blockland download. Cancelled it of course, but, it was only to text if everything works.

Not sure if that assisted anyone..

Xenonphy's application has been rejected.


Clan residential build is progressing smoothly.


Mentlegen, it appears we have a fairly smooth clan going it seems.

Can we get a server thingy?

There is a 24.7 dedicated server being hosted by Maxwell. Its been up since Saturday I think.

I hate to say it, but I also say no. I apologize, but, that is 3 vetos. Your application has been scrapped and rejected. If you wish to apply again, you can either spruce up this build, add more detail, and, make it capture the attention of the overall community.

Now for critique and actual reasoning for why I reject;

• The over-all exterior of the plane doesn't catch my attention, nor does it have any outstanding details that make me go :O!
• The amount of interior of the plane that you did actually show doesn't look like much effort was put into it, sheerly because, from what I saw in the pictures (and I'm currently on a mobile device HTC G2 to be percise) there WAS no interior.
• The island didn't have much thought put into it, there is no neat landscape, nor is there any detail work actually done on that portion of the build, the cake portion defiantly also lost many points because it begins to show your true maturity level.
• In short, I would put more detail work into the build, and, where you're taking the pictures from, make sure that those areas are extremely well built. We judge from images, you can sugar coat a build by making the area around the pictures purely awesome, no, that doesn't mean that you can make a build that is overall rubbish, and then put palm trees and brick cladding where you take the pictures. Also, if you do decide to re-apply, I would suggest a more original idea, I've seen a ton of plane wreck builds.

Well, I hope I didn't over-whelm you, I would love to see another try from you.

Maxwell is hosting a 24.7 dedicated server. Beachbum loaded the build on the server, and, the admin list is up to date, so, yes.

Illustrator?

I'm pretty sure SB used Flash to make it. For all of the other art, I used Photoshot, Jane Austen font, and, a drawing tablet to give the font my own personal flairs

Well, if all else fails, I can allow you to be in the clan as a cheerleader for the time being seeing as how you want it bad. Cheerleaders get to wear the o_q tag, but, they do not get admin on any of the clan servers, nor do they have any jurisdiction on clan applications. They are more than welcome to work on clan projects though, I might add.

hmm. I'll take out the ramp at the top and maybe tone it down a notch.

I do think it has potential don't get me wrong, it just seems like a lot for such a small build. If you decide to remove the ramp, I would make the walls on the top portion, and create an interior, it would greatly increase your chances of getting into the clan.



And in regards to Canto's comment, i'd expect he didn't seeing as how this is a clan application and it is meant to be built strictly by yourself.
