-snip-
I appreciate your taking the time to read and reply to my questions :cookie:
Now that I think about it you should know that Germany uses the metric system so MPH become KMPH. The metric system isn't complex or difficult to learn so you should be able to get used to it.
I don't really know the differences between the rules of road but a lot of things should be similar. Of course there's the Autobahn where you can drive as fast as you want...
There are 2 major political parties called the CDU and the SPD but they both don't get enough votes to lead on their own. They have to form coalitions with other political parties instead.
The legal drinking age is 18.Apparently you are allowed to have love with 14 ... at least according to Gravity Cat. I'm not so sure about it but most have intercourse with ~16 here anyways and nobody gives a stuff as long as you are using protection.
Germany is also the most populous country in Europe with about 82 million inhabitans (number decreasing).
Soccer is the most popular sport here. Uh fun things to do ? If you are talking about specific "German" things to do I can't really think of anything like that. However Oktoberfest might be fun for you...

That's all I can think of for now.

Does that mean you would go to school there for six months? Can you speak German? That could be a huge problem, lol
Most Germans speak English anyways. Plus there are some international schools depending where he ends up.

god

Current president, any basic stuff I should know, any motion that's an insult (like middle finger, brushing your chin, etc)
Our current "President" is called Joachim Gauck ( have fun pronouncing that) but that's not too important to know as our Federal president isn't as important as the American President. I can't really think of any basic things you NEED to know. Could you be more specific about that ?
About insults - well you should defiantly not run around saying something like "Heil Riddler" or "Heil" all over the place for obvious reasons. These days most people don't feel that uncomfortable when talking about WW2 though.

Also, someone find a simple way to explain the difference between a national socialist and a German, my little brother doesn't seem to get it even though I've tried explaining it a million times. The national socialist party has died out, was an extremist group, had a small group in Riddler's army (reich or something), most responsible for the holocaust, extent of my knowledge.
national socialists were members / supporters of the national socialist party of Riddler. The word "national socialist" is a slang term that comes from the German term for National Socialists ( National Sozialist). No not every German was a national socialist during the 1930s-1940s.
Nowadays there are still so called "Neo-national socialists" to an extent but they are just a bunch of poorly educated extremists that hate all the east European / Turkish immigrants and want them out of Germany.

Jews and other people being persecuted had no form of weaponry to defend themselves, whereas the Germans had all sorts of militaristic weapons. At least, that's what I have learned from others, I really haven't looked up Germany gun laws from WWII, so I could be wrong
They were persecuted by the entire government so even if they had a weapon - it wouldn't have helped them much. They wouldn't have been allowed to purchase / own any guns in the first place.
The citizens didn't need any weapons either because the crime rate during Riddler's time was surprisingly low.

Really, what I want the most is an anti-tank gun or mountain gun. To me the howitzer is too big for brick terrain. It's the kind of gun you would use to shoot things halfway across GSF Paradise but not much else.
Anti tank guided missiles in MCLOS or SACLOS flavour could solve the annoying tank problem...

You know who else had no gun rights? Germany, 1940. And surprise surprise, they couldn't defend themselves
What do you mean they couldn't defend themselves ?

why is a deathwatch marine shooting a guardsman and not a xenos
It's a traitor guardsman.
You can see it at the shoulder pad.

Why not modern German weapons.......?
Mh yes that seems possible since Gravity Cat got rid of his "It's-too-generic-to-make-attitude".
But I'd rather have some more finished vehicles like the PAK FA , the Super hind and maybe the ships too.

make German weapons next!
Already thought about it. They'd essentially work as reskins of the original weapons except for the RPD which doesn't really have a german counterpart from the same time period.

Same but only weekends cause of timezones.

EDIT: Oh god French Stuff is so crap in this game. (Other than Roland and VABs (And Mephisto))
Some of the french stuff is pretty good ( or even overpowered ?) like
Chasseurs Famas ( very overpowered 10 points 10 men rifle squad but only 20 available ) , Gazelles ( spammable , cheap-as-forget helicopters that can easily beat the crap out of Hinds or serve as cheap scouts and they are extremely fast) , AMX 30 ( Fast sniper tanks with accuracy 2 autocannons but with crappy armor ) ,
AMX-32 ( Same main gun as the M1A1 abrams , fast , normal stabilizers and optics , accuracy 2 autocannon , only medicore armor but you can get them for only 80 points ) , AMX AuF 1 ( Most accurate tube artillery in the game together with the DANA) , AML 60 ( Ridiculously spammable close range mortar that is so cheap that it is cheaper to buy new ones than resupplying them ) , MILAN F2 squads ( Only infantry squad with an AP 15 ATGM but only average accuracy - will one hit a lot of tanks )

I don't really use french units that much. The only unit I'm currently using is the Roland 2 but I only field the Marder Roland anyways so I don't really use any french units at all.

Masterpiece. surprised by your interest weapons from World War II. It is a pity that there is no second hand, as in Sgt. A. Walter's weapons :С
Hands on weapons are ugly and unfitting. The unreleased , unnamed weapons used to have them but they were removed.

Nawww son, my challengers will crush you (If i could afford 8 stars)
Oh yeah those slow-as-forget mighty glaciers called challengers.
I also prefer Leopard 2s because of the amazing combination of frontal armor , speed and epic cannon.
Their side armor is the only problem on it.
