Don't.
FL Studio can do pretty much everything you need it to, and there's not much of a reason to switch to Ableton other than interface preference, especially after FL 11 added launchpad support.

An apology is usually unnecessary, as past actions will be forgotten if you just let them die down on their own. There will be a few mentions here and there, but eventually people will stop being pricks and antagonizing you because of what you've done. I've been there, and it worked out pretty well these past couple years.
