« on: November 08, 2013, 04:05:01 PM »Buyable weapons have more or less died on out popular servers now, though the less-popular try to use it once in a while, even though it leads to crazy levels of difficulty for new players.I think it's fine as long as new players don't start out with a toy gun and a carrot to stick up someones ass.
Like you can buy differently functioning weapons that are balanced to eachother and the starters for variety

I got frost chestplate on my second golem kill on like my 4-5th day in hardmode with Golden Showel, it is an awesome hardmode starter set
Also, try throwing rotten eggs at NPCs with full Frost Armor and watch them burn
Also x2 my jungle temple doesn't have an altar so I can't get Picksaw or any cool Golem drops in my world :(

Users play whatever they want to. Having a personal add-on for your own little 'fanclub' and to collect players is idiocy. All finished addons should be public.You sound like you are just pissed that you weren't given a sepcific personal/private add-on
What if I made a sandvich and took in into my classroom
do I have to give pieces from that sandvich to every single classmate I have just because we are in the same class? That is dump, and I bet you wouldn't do that
I also bet if you had made a private add-on you would just brag about it and never give it to anyone.

And who the forget is collecting players? You can't say that players play where they want, and then say that if you play a server alot then you are a 'fan-boy' and got collected.
And anyways, nobody is talking about full playerlist here. It's not even about popularity in most cases, it's just to make the server more enjoyable for players.

Will this be as glitchy as MARBLE's sleep add-on? with the random invisible shapes and floating text?
Also you should make something like beating up people, which makes the attacker sit/stand/something on the unconscious player and continuously punches and damages them until they die
or they wouldn't be unconscious and could fight against beating up
like rape mod but more subtlet
anyway this stuffs cool
