All I can tell you is that you shouldn't have spent $280 on an OS, should've just gotten Home Premium and put the rest of the money towards a CPU or better GPU, I also would've gotten a Caviar Black instead of a Caviar Blue and 2x2GB sticks of RAM instead of 1x4GB, each stick can only handle so many operations at once regardless of speed, spreading the workload over multiple sticks instead of one is always a good idea, I have 4x2GB sticks myselfthis was over half a year ago, and i didnt buy the OS, i used ubuntu.

Today my brilliant friend who has broken items that are more expensive than your entire computer was finally building his new comp after the i7 incident...your friend is loving stupid
He got it up and running, installed all the drivers and started playing some games after installing steam.
Then his entire computer shut down. What was the problem? He thought that it would make the CPU life longer if the stock cooler's thermal paste never touched the CPU or something, so he kept the plastic on his CPU Cooler (stock intel one, may i mind you).
His mobo and processor are fried, though he got a waranty this time so it's probably going to be covered...
... he hopes.

I have no idea, but I was thinking about doing double 670's and this just seems like a better deal.
