OP, girls are girls and ive pretty much been through a similar situation; here's what you gotta do - give her some space and make her actually miss you. make her want to talk to you instead of talking to you because it's a chore. Slowly, you'll find that she will be doing all of the "calling you first" sorta thing. you're not being clingy, shes just being a bitch.

How is it possible to keep my space with her at school, where I'll see her every day? Also, won't that make her break up with me?
