and where does god come from
If God is omnipotent and created everything, it wouldn't be irrational to believe that he's unaffected by (and probably created) time. Meaning God had no beginning and therefore doesn't need any sort of origin.

All wrong-doings can be forgiven, all but one: Not believing in God.
What religion do you believe in? Because that's not what the Bible says
If that was true then conversion to Christianity would be useless because you have already committed an unforgivable sin. That's silly

idk what people mean when they always say "All wrong-doings can be forgiven, all but one: Not believing in God."
What
Who is saying these things, I've never heard anybody say this before in my life

It definitely looks weird, but after a few seconds I got used to it. I think it's probably the best fitting sonic model we might get for BL

1. Yes. But the first question is phrased weird, why does God exist? Because he does I guess? Why do I believe he exists? Well that's question 3 isn't it?

2. being the SuperChristian that I am, I'd quote the Bible's definition. Being sure of what you hope for, and certain of what you cannot see. In Christianity, faith (in God at least) is seen as the choice to believe in God, and that he's going to do what he says he will in spite of circumstances.

3. For one thing I grew up in a Christian household, a couple years ago my dad became a pastor as well. But before then, I had doubts of my own and did some research. Trying to be open to the idea that God doesn't exist and that Christianity was wrong. But in all my reading about various religions and about the alternatives to human origins (namely cosmic and biological evolution,) none of them seemed to really have much solid, concrete things to back them up. For most viewpoints there were a few things that seemed to point in a direction saying that they were right, but nothing concrete that couldn't be looked at a second way. In my opinion, the Christian views of God seemed to be the most realistic, as odd as that may sound to some people.
So I continued with my walk with Christianity and eventually I had some spiritual experiences that don't seem like they can be explained scientifically, making my belief just about permanent.

4. As a Christian the only reason I believe people are here in the first place is to love others and to love God. So I do that, enjoy life, and do my best to be a good example. So far it seems to be working out pretty well for me.

Woo! Problem is, 99 other games have been greenlit too, so we might not stand out that much :|
Bah details details

there is no room for rationality in this historic celebration

I still want a cool accessory, like a different cape, that only IDs below 10k get. We deserve it!
pfft no I've been here for at least 4 years and I only have an 18k id

ironically your ID is 1059
you're thinking 1k, not 10

General Discussion / Re: Where is Rusty & Munk's HatMod?
« on: August 28, 2013, 10:09:09 AM »
iirc hatmod+ was crc'd because of the loops it frequently ran to see which hats you had which made servers lag for some reason
Actually I and a few others were having an issue where saving would crash the game, and then reloading the save would show that only the bottom half of it or so saved. So the file was ruined

I think that was the issue that it was causing, but they fixed it a while ago. Iirc they just didn't post the fixed version because there wasn't anything new, so it didn't seem worth the update

I feel like half of you are lieing

Using one hand, rapidly tensing up and vibrating my arm up and down, I was able to click 94 times. I can't see how much higher than that is even possible unless you're using two hands or a bot

Suggestions & Requests / Prop Hunt Gamemode
« on: August 27, 2013, 08:21:27 PM »
Saw a video of PewDiePie's of the gamemode, one of the only ones that really made me laugh

This seems like it would be a great thing to have in Blockland, maybe players can hide as a weapon, vehicle, or block model. TTT seemed like it made a great transition from GM to BL, it's one of my favorite gamemodes now. So I'm thinking that maybe this would do the same

If you don't know what Prop Hunt is, then here's what it is.
Basically two players- the hiders, go around the map quickly trying to find a hiding place, and something to disguise themselves as. They select something and then take the shape of what they clicked on

The seekers have weapons and spawn a little bit after the hiders. They try to kill the hiders

That's what I got from the videos I watched anyways

If your computer can't handle some mini nuke explosions so that it crashes, than I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to do the same with other kinds of explosions. It's happened plenty of times before
Also thanks for uncalled for insult. Apparently you can't have a mature conversation for too long at a time

and uh
It really isn't an issue
Also Zeb, I just set up a brick with a relay to shoot 2.0 mininuke projectiles at a decent sized building. Plenty of lag sure, but no crash.
And lag due to extreme spam isn't an issue because you get lag when you spam half of the things in this game

Go on any server and try to crash it with default explosions. No you can't.
