I spell it out.
Yeah, seems a lot more simple to just call it a G.I.F as if it was an acronym
sounds less silly that way too

FINALLY got another roll of duct tape

So I've attatched a backpack to the back of the torso so I can use straps to hold it. Any suggestions as to what I should do with the backpack? I could cover it with cardboard and put tubes on it so it looks like some kind of engine, but that's been done before

using the week before today, so not including the posts I made today (it is currently August 3), I'd have about 36448 posts (rounded up)
5,206 a day
Congratulations, you win the no life award!

Oh wait no I'm stupid, I thought you meant 36448 in the past week

I just don't like the smell of it, and I've heard that most alcohol tastes bad as well (with the exception of Wine.)

Also, while I enjoy goofing off with friends, I want to still be perfectly mentally capable and aware of what I'm doing and what's going on. I hear too often about accidents and people doing things they wouldn't normally because they were incoherent due to drunkenness.

And for those of you who say that you feel perfectly aware while drunk, try doing some puzzles or something. I doubt you'd do too well on them
It mayfeel like you still have your common sense, but that doesn't mean you do. Although I could be wrong since I'm no expert on being drunk, hehe

Gimp Gimp Gimp

It's a free, slightly more limited photoshop kind of thing, but easier to figure out imo. For most people's purposes, it works perfect
I've also seen some people draw some great things with it,

that's when the game runs too fast, which isn't the case.  the AMD Dual Core Optimizer fixes this, but i'm not sure if it'd really fix the problem you're having and it's only for Windows XP.

if you have windows xp, it's worth trying.

I really don't understand why it doesn't work to be honest, I was just quoting the mention of the issue on the BL page
Quote
There is an issue with AMD dual core processors that causes Blockland to run too fast.

This comes with a link to an AMD Dual Core Optimizer, although I may have already gotten this. And other than that, on AMD's website the only optimizer they seemed to offer was for a different processor than the one I have. So I figured that the one being linked on the download page of BL probably wouldn't work for my processor
Also I have Windows 7

You guys are acting like we are going to become huge once we get on steam. Steam isnt going to send a stuffton of people here its just another way to buy the game.  I doubt we are going to get much bigger unless blockland gets a Lets Play from someone famous and there may be a couple of boosts of players every once in a while from summer sales.
It won't immediately get a lot more people, but over time I'm sure we'll get a lot more people than we ever would get without Steam.

sorry for the crosspost but incredibly relevant
honestly, it's hard for me not to agree with a lot of this.
This is the best online community I've ever been a part of, but at the same time Drama is allowed to be focused on way too much. I don't think there should be a Drama section, the only thing it really seems to do is give people another place to argue and get banned. But by now it's pretty much too late to get rid of it

I doubt we wouldn't be greenlit at number 7, if not then we'll certainly be greenlit the time after

It will be like the minecraft community.
ew
I posted at least 3 topics on the Minecraft forums before and I never got even one response
I think those forums are too big to be very functional

I'm all for greenlight, and it looks like it'll happen soon. But once Blockland is added to the store and everything, how do you think the forums will change?

I imagine things will just pick up- more of the good things like add-ons and builds, and unfortunately with that would come more of the bad things like complaining, drama, etc. etc.
Also at the moment I guess I'm known by a decent amount of people here, but when that happens I'll probably fade in the crowd until I'm an absolute nobody again

inb4 "we'll get loads of 7 year old dum dums with no grammar and turn into Roblux!!11!"

edit- For those of you unsure why I would be saying 'when' and not 'if' we get greenlit-
We were #16.  16 games were greenlit.  Now we're #7.

as for the problem i don't really know, like this sounds like some really deep problem in the processor and how it's made.
As far as I know there's just some games, BL included, that aren't optimized for dual core processors. So the game "runs too fast" and ends up doing this :/
