WHAT IS THIS!

This is a soon to be great mod which will feature tons of cool features. It will have some great things like hitboxes, scavenging itself, upgrading weapons, and crafting. From this point on, work on this mod has started. This mod takes place in a wastelanish time, where the country is torn apart by war, and divided into many sections, including horrible quarintined area's, ghetto towns, abandoned cities, living cities. Basically an rpg with many cool features and a great build for all of it.

FEATURES!

  • Gui's!
  • NPCs and Bots!
  • Durability!
  • Inventory system!
  • Armor System!
  • Crafting!
  • Searching! (Crates, chests, lockers, and more weird search-able objects!)
  • Functions with T+T2, and will be using it.
  • Shops that sell things
  • Hunger

SCRIPTERS!

  • Searching- Done.
  • Durability- Crafting is connected to this, waiting.
  • Armor System- Done.
  • Inventory- Ipquarx is doing this right now.
  • Crafting, inventory, and shops- Ipquarx is doing this right now.
  • Hunger- No progress at the moment, starting soon.
  • Money Systen- Done.

MODELLERS!

  • Basic searching- Locker, Crate, Gun Locker, Weapon Chest. (go in this order, must be blocko of course and not too advanced)

NPC DETAILS!

  • Trader: Sells all the stupid stuff you need, metal, guns, drugs, ammo, weapons, food- everything! Not the best quality items and that, but yeah! He sells them!
  • Weapons Dealer: Best at selling weapons and armor., that's his specialty, high quality, doesn't really sell anything else though.
  • Doctor: Fixing you up and selling you drugs- your ordinary doctor. High quality medic supplies, doesn't sell other stuff, or other GOOD stuff that is.
  • Thug: Your ordinary friend, carrying weapons ranging from lead pipe, to pistols, general idiots of the land.
  • Zombie: Brains are top priority for these guys, they'll do whatever they can do get some; from jumping to lava and to running into saw blades. Not the smartest guys, just make sure they don't touch you, otherwise- your kind of forgeted then.
  • Mutant: A big forgeted up guy that's been mutated, about 1/2 bigger than the normal blockhead, he tends to use lead pipes and sledge hammers, they also come in variations, such as super, soldier, and the ordinary, just mutant.
  • Scavengers: These guys are nice, ordinary people, just trying to maintain life, make profit, and be happy... That is if you blow their head off.
  • Hobos/Poor People: You can find these guys begging for food in caves or in poor towns, killing them won't matter, they don't have anything, and giving them stuff probably won't reward you, although, sometimes, they'll try to mug you!
  • Mercenaries: Don't mess with these guys, they usually carry battle rifles, lever action rifles, magnums, and other evil things in those area's. Killing them would be a good profit though...

WEAPON DETAILS!

Here is the list of weapons that will be used in this mod, these are all T+T2 weapons, including their melee, but, some of these will be slightly modified and some parts of weapons will be removed, that is why this is here. It's also here to show you your list of weapons.

PISTOLS![/b]

  • Pistol: Your ordinary pistol, flashlight equipped, bad damage, what do you expect?
  • Snubnose: An ordinary revolver, usually used by policeman and other crazy people.
  • Magnum: High powered bullets, blowing peoples heads off easily, quite powerful. Have fun finding the ammo for this though.

SHOTGUNS!

  • Lever-Shotgun: Lever-action power! Great weapon, accurate, but little spread. Specifically used for direct hits.
  • Hunting Shotgun: Double barreled, lawn killing machine, great weapon, low ammo, still good non-the-less.
  • Pump Shotgun: Common shotgun, around 7 shots, big bullet spread, used by policemen and swat officers usually.
  • Combat Shotgun: Well, your forgeted, better run. 7 shots, very fast shooting rate, devastating damage.

AUTOMATICS!

  • Submachine Gun: Common little smg, fast, reliable, great, lots of ammo.
  • Battle Rifle: An automatic rifle, made for battle, very reliable and high damage.
  • LMG: High capacity of ammo, low damage, general killing tool, closest thing to a mounted machine gun.

SNIPER RIFLES!

  • Sport Rifle: A quick firing rifle, with alot of ammo, and is pretty good.
  • Military Rifle: Top grade military weapon, used for sniping, high damage, very accurate, great weapon in general.

MELEE!

  • Lead Pipe: You found this laying around in a sewer, whadda ya expect?!
  • Combat Knife: Well, looks like one of those great knives that cut people up pretty bad.
  • Sledgehammer: Wrecking houses, cars, heads, and much more. Heavy, powerful, yet slow, great but slow weapon.
  • Machete: From the jungles of the Amazon. Chops stuff up bad, good, but not the best.
  • Katana: A sharp edged blade, when you see ANYONE with this, you best run before it splits you in half.

BUILDING!

Well of course, by now you know that the mod will be built, and we're going to need somebody to build this giant bastard! So, basically ask if you can build, show your skills with some pictures/link/download and we'll review it. If it's good, welcome, if it's not, don't bother trying by then.

BUILDERS!

This includes all of the workers too.

BETA TESTERS!

Beta testers; Simple for applying, ask nicely, see if there's space, and make sure your not a damn idiot when you do ask. This also includes our working people.

Beta testing is in the future, when beta testing begins either all testers will be messaged or will be informed on this topic.

Beta testing will be simple, you try out the mod, pull out flaws, and try to give the modders some suggestions on what to fix/balance. Best of all, early and secret testing!

    Is it possible to check body parts on the default blocklander? For example, if the blocklander is hit in the arm it will do less damage the in the foot. Basically, can specific parts be counted and if there are, what are they?

    Modification Help / Two major problems!

    Well Munk and I recently made a train, he is scripting, and I am modeling/testing.

    Well it appears we have a pretty big problem here. Our train tends to crash people, in two ways that is. 

    1- A player connects and someone has already spawned a train, when they spawn; they crash

    2- Sometimes while spawning the train, the player will crash.

    Last one is simple, we are trying to make the train colorable, yet it doesn't color, we took the horse codes, and put them in, because of course- the horse is colorable, yet when we do 'recolor' on the properties of the vehicles spawn; the train turns black except for it's colored parts.

    On the other hand, I need help with static items, if you dont know what that is, well its an item that you pickup and use instantly, for example the TF2 medkits or the Sanvich. So if anyone can help me with that too, like item dropping and that, please do!

    Problem is, the damn thing is smooth shaded or whatever you may call that, but its smooth, and I want it gone ;c

    Alright, so currently I am editting Kaje's minigun, and im wondering how to remove the part that makes your player kind of launch backwards when you shoot (you have to be jumping), if you know how to remove it, please tell!

    I was wondering if there is a way to broadcast a sound, so basically the whole server can hear it.
    Example:
    When a player dies, 'Tango down!' audio would be heard all over the server.

    Suggestions & Requests / Map/build rotating

    I'm not sure if this is easy to script or not, but just a script that rotates the map/build after the minigame team wins, such as team deathmatch. Example.

    Red Riot wins the battle!
    Rotating map!
    (Bricks finish loading, players die.)
    (Minigame resets)
    New build/map ready!

    Sounds like it would be kind of hack-y though.

    Welcome! This server is run by me and uses Tier+Tactical 2 and uses Space Guy's team deathmatch. In my Prison break, you must use your sly skills to sneak past gaurds, find hidden keys in toilets, find switchblades in vents and access armory's for full freedom! Gaurds, do your stuff and protect.     Help / Odd lagging

    Well I was testing out my Fraps and noticed something odd, after recording Left 4 Dead on my new computer I had purchased; I experienced no lag at all. But when I go to test Blockland it lags slightly, like twitchy I would say, any ideas?
