Help / Re: Blockland game start-up error

Yea that's what I get to. When you join an online game, what you need to do is join it, then when that message pops up, quit the game, restart it, and join that server again. In an offline game, your only option is to have as little add-ons as possible enabled when you start a game. For me, I like to try and only use 100 add-ons maximum.
Yeah I didn't download any add-ons. Are you talking about default add-ons?

No. I didn't even install RTB this time. I installed Blockland again straight from the website and tryed to start a single player game on the map "Bedroom" and it said this:
Could not write to cache database.
This can be caused by running the game from a read-only database or CD-ROM.

Help / Blockland game start-up error
« on: November 28, 2010, 02:17:06 PM »
I have been currently having this problem with Blockland:
The program starts up fine, so does the RTB add-on, but when I try to start a single or multiplayer game or join a multiplayer game, it says Blockland cannot strt the game because the game is being read from a Read-only file, or something. does anyone have the solution to this problem? I have uninstalled and installed it like 3 times but that doesn't solve the issue. Help?
