What classifies as a "good" one?

I'm thinking of getting this one: http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=16
Any thoughts?

It's $80. If you want it go ahead. I classify a "good" keyboard to be the Gigabyte Aivia Osmium. That thing is amazing.

That's a very laughable statement.

Not really. It's some serious competition in some countries.

How much better is liquid cooling compared to regular heatsinks?

By liquid cooling do you mean fancy custom loops, or just all in one liquid coolers?

I bought a 128GB OCZ SSD and took it back.

Reason being, if you buy the SSD when you buy your computer, you can just kinda do everything from the ground up with the drives.

If you buy it when you already have 600GB of stuff on your main drive, it's gonna be really annoying and tough. But if you have the patience, go for it, just moving all of your stuff over is annoying imo.

Besides, I can deal with being patient for now. When Micron releases that 1 TB SSD, I'll probably buy that and transfer my whole goddamn partition so I won't have to deal with re-installing my entire file system.

I agree. And until SSDs get to the same price per gig as some HDD out there then I wont touch them. It's just not enough space :(

idk
but Im not buying another sorry

sooo any suggestions?

Look here, pick one.

I think the PCI-E slots are numbered, so he should probably stick to the first one.

It doesn't matter what PCI slot he uses. It's like with RAM sticks, if you have 2 sticks and 4 slots it doesn't matter what slot they go in, they result will still be the same amount of RAM.

This is why I don't use chrome
only this
no other reason

You can just disable the extension that is causing it.

Is this the way the card is supposed to be set up?

Make sure it is in the PCI slot all the way, reconnect the power connectors, try another PCI slot, reboot, etc, etc. Just troubleshoot all the possibilities that could be effecting the card.

She sent my mother a email of how awful I did in class when that was the only thing that happened. I am clueless.

I don't like how Mack's computer build recommendations cheap out on the other components to try and emphasize the GPU.

There is also way too much MSI going on. I'm not sure on them as a brand but I wouldn't recommend them and I've never seen particular good nor bad reviews... pretty so-so, I wouldn't build a high ender with one of those thats for sure.

Just my view.

Those were mine if you read carefully directly above them. Anyways, I simply put those as recommended builds with more emphasis on the GPU as a majority of people here are of the gaming type. And saying that MSI is a not so good brand is completely off the mark. MSI provides extremely high quality parts, especially motherboards. They have been in the industry for far longer than most brands people suggest these days, and by saying you would never use them in a high end build is ludicrous. Take for example their flagship Z77 board, the z77 MPower. It is rated as one of the most stable boards on the market and has a crazy amount of overclocking capability on it. Also to go with that, their Lightning GTX 680 is ranked as the #1 card for NVIDIA flagship cards on Overclock.net. In all honesty, you can't really have a "view" on the company as MSI has been proven by plenty of sources as being very good and reliable. And most of the other parts in the build are not "cheaped" out either, I would like to know what you consider to be "cheaped" out on.

Sorry if this came out  really defensive, I didn't intend it to be that way ^-^
