They do indeed.  Would it be fixed if I make the top of the truck thicker?

Those very tall trees look weird.
They are not supposed to look like any real tree, I do know what you mean though.

These pictures look REALLY bad.
It looks a ton better in-game.

This is a build I started making randomly because I was bored.

The main reason I made it was because knife TDMs are almost all platforms, and platforms are just getting boring imo.

These islands are kinda like platforms, but they are all bigger and are connected to each other.

The only thing I think I need to add is about 2 more different types of trees, then add something to finish it off in which I need help on.

What do you think?

I know it is not the best build in the world, but I like the look of it.
What should I add to it, I am going to add more tree types, but something else is missing.


I also need someone to host this if anyone wants to play on it, my server sucks and I cannot port forward.

It is in-game now, the only problem is that you can only see a little bit of the model, not the blade or the handle O_o
Anyone know how to fix  this?
I can easily go back and try to fix it I have tried already.

There is one problem with this.
The bottom of the knife.
My Dad is a knife enthusiast and he says if this knife was used it a war, it would be EXTREMELY bulky due to the
plate on the bottom.
That was my Dad's constructive critism.
I did slime it out, but I would not have thought of that.


EDIT:
I have it fully in-game (I think) I have not tested it yet.
It only has a test script so I can see if the model looks good and if it is held right in the hand.

I cannot get any further on this until I get an animator.
I cannot export it from Milkshape to Torque DTS Plus as I only have the trial.
I will buy it, but it still needs animations.

I like the shape of the knife, but the handle is hard to see. Could we get a close up of the handle?

I am not sure if you wanted it on SketchUp or Milkshape, but I am assuming you are talking about the picture I just posted.

Very nice, much better than my 2 knives :P, any advice you can give to a rookie modeler?
uhhh, this is the second weapon I have modeled, so I guess I don't really have any for you lol.
I just read a ton about making weapons and such. SketchUp is also REALLY easy to use.

The model is ready for the animator now, the only problem is the shading on the quillion or what ever it is called.
I had to regroup the parts of the knife as Milkshape saw it as just one object, so it does not have as much color as I wanted.

WELL, I did it!  I converted it to milkshape!  All I had to do was get the trial version of milkshape, get the 3Ds exporter for Google SketchUp
Then do all kinds of random things, but it worked!

Ok, I need someone to take this knife, convert it and send it back to me.
For some reason I cannot do it because my computer does not even have the option to do it lol.
