Holy stuff. Pretty much everything you did in this was right. I love how if you really look at it there isn't much detail, but the lack of detail gives this odd aura around it. I'm not even gonna talk about the trees contrary to everyone else, seeing how all other things just outshine the trees.

Either you get rid of the pond or you make it big like in Trifax's pic. The roof should also be black. Everything else is good, and the browns don't need to be varied since Japanese traditional buildings use only one or two types of wood. 8/10.
