This morning, Nintendo announced the DSi XL, a new DSi with 4 inch screens.  Yeah, that's massive.  It's going to be $220 in the US.  But really, wtf, Nintendo?

Help / NVIDIA Drivers Site Broken?

I've been trying to install 8 series drivers for windows 7 on my system, but when I try to download, it gives me a page that looks like this

Anyone know of some way to get the drivers?

Who remembers this game?  Everyone who does always remembers how great it was.  Seriously, it's one of the best "You're small" games out there, next to Chibi Robo and Blockland.  Most movie games aren't ever this great.  It's so awesome, that it's the reason I started making Brick House, and some other maps.

Off Topic / Ubuntu Graphics Driver Help

This is really bugging me, through the "Hardware Drivers" window, I am trying to download some graphics drivers.  But when I try activating, I authenticate, then a progress box appears, but it doesn't do anything. Then I try to cancel and try again, but it doesn't close.  Anyone know what to do?  Also, I've noticed that I had to get 200mb of updates, but that says it will take about 1 day.  And the download is REALLY slow.  Any way to fix that?

Modification Help / Brick House Development Thread! (Updated 10/17)

Yeah, my old thread kept dying out, and was WAY unorganized, so I'm going to kinda restart.  If you would like to see old screenshots, check the old thread out here.

So, I've been working on this map for a while on Torque Constructor, named "Brick House", because, well, it's a house made of bricks. (On the outside, lol)  At the time, I'm just finishing the first floor, and stairway to the second floor.  So, enjoy me rambling on about the smallest bit of brushwork and me procrastinating!


Yep, it's actually lit now.


I love lighting on interiors.


New texture for black objects, like the lamp, tv, and this swing so far.

Games / Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Supposed to be one of the best games coming out this year. 
Uncharted 2 is a third person shooter developed by Naughty Dog for the PS3.  It has recieve a lot of praise for it's gameplay, graphics, and storyline and such.
The game uses 100% of the PS3's cell processor, and uses 25gb of a blu ray disk.  (take that, xbox!)

Any try the demo? Awesome, right?

Yeah, I mean 1-4, not the new stuffs.  

The games are some of the BEST games I've played.  The game works like this: You go to places, then do goals, which are usually collecting 5 things, doing a trick somewhere, collecting s-k-a-t-e, getting high scores (hi, pro, and sick), and collecting a secret tape.  That's how old/awesome these games are, freaking cassette tapes!

I recently got into playing 2 and 3, now that I installed them on my PC.  Anyone know how I would go about editing the EXE to 2, so I can load the other THPS1 levels?
