I used a lamp and faced it downward and brought it as close as i could to the ragdolls without them going outside of the lamp's lightBut then the shadows edges would look different.

Right click the icon in your tray, and click exit.The top left. Do you use a mac?
Or go into the steam menu to the upper right hand corner and exit from there.
pc players have to deal with this too much. Every other server is nuketown 24/7, no joke.
