They might repair the hard drive and auction it somewhere.....considering they easily have the money to do so. Anyways, good luck, whether you file a lawsuit or get proof of destruction.
because this works, right?  oh wait no because hard drives aren't very easily repairable and it's almost always cheaper to just replace it.

Yeah, I know. If you read the OP fully you'd realize I already understood that I'm hopeless in this situation. I'm literally debating putting this aside, going to law school, become a lawyer, and do this myself in about 10 years. LOL

I'm so loving mad. I'm going to at least demand compensation for it. All I really care about is receiving proof they destroyed the hard-drive. If they did, I'll be FINE.
lol
What else could I have done? Taken the hard-drive out and send it in and have my warranty denied? Does that automatically give them the right to "destroy" (probably taken and having the data extracted if you wanna be a conspiracy nut) my hard-drive?
i don't think that taking the hard drive out voids your warranty.
I would demand much more than that. I'd demand proof of the destruction of my hard-drive and possibly 10 grand at most. At minimum, the best gaming laptop they have. lol
lol 10 grand?  for pain and suffering thinking that your girlfriends nudes might be made public?

You leave your car at a garage to get fixed.
It comes back out and the radio is gone.
It's not theft because you gave it to them.
Yep, makes sense.
but they even replaced the hard drive and provided reasoning for it.  if the OP was thinking, he would have just grabbed the hard drive before sending it.

It's theft when they take the hard-drive without permission that has all my stuff on it, yes.

Poor service as in hanging up on the loving phone when I demand loving proof for my goddamn hard-drive being destroyed. Do you loving realize how serious this is?
lol, were you acting like a prick when you were demanding proof?  that's also not theft though, you should fully expect them to do this.

the joke is really immature, but the fact that they actually aired this and believed it is hilarious.

Theft of data, refusal to show proof that they destroyed my hard-drive, and poor service is definitely something to sue for.
lol

is it really theft when you send it to them? and you sue for poor service?

You are not getting the point.

Just because he's obsessed with anime doesn't mean that he's a weeaboo. If anything, it just makes him an otaku.

lol
just because he likes japan doesnt mean hes a weeaboo, the proper term is otaku.  only a haisha wouldnt know that.  go commit seppuku. i bet you prefer dubs too.

Social club is for PC so I'm sure it will come to PC, eventually
it also exists for consoles, so this really means nothing.

i don't see how drawing in an anime style makes me a weeaboo
that just happens to be the easiest way for me to draw
you also completely missed the point that i'm really barely even a weeaboo to begin with

I wonder who started this thread

relevant

i do, like i mentioned before i participate in S5 League (about as professional as a game with a game with 300 players can get) with shampooh, as well as various fighting game tournaments (which again may be a little more out there relative to the topic at hand but relevant enough to mention), and simply put i do not think that "esports" qualify as sports

i don't think i ever actually got around to posting the Clover, so here's the whole set

Yes! Bump with no content!

That's the same logic as saying there's no competition in LoL because the objective for both teams is to kill the other team. Are both competitors supposed to do something different? That wouldn't be very fair, would it?
Actually, no.  You cannot approach a rhythm game in multiple ways, it never changes.  LoL, however, has tons of different strategies.
And yes, the fact that many tournaments revolving around the game today exist should tell you that it can be judged, regardless of whether or not it's "traditional". If you're not going purely off of the highest score, you could perhaps have a "routine" competition; who can make the best "actual dancing" routine to whatever song they please. This kind of competition is common in Pump it Up.
But this is A, not very entertaining to a wide audience, and B, still ends up being a consistency contest.  That's not very fun to many people.
Even then, there are plenty of gamemodes, too. Cooperative gamemodes, in fact, and as I linked in the video, game mechanics that can make any competition interesting and dynamic.
There's a team-based gamemode, and a cooperative gamemode.
That's about as great of a mechanic as some starfish walking up and punching you.  It only serves to distract.

And if there were to be more interest in the game, the same as the amount of interest that LoL seems to have built up, giving the same treatment to osu! as was given to LoL would make sense.
I honestly hope you're not being serious here.
It seems like you pretty much don't know what the hell you're talking about when it comes to osu!, or rhythm games in general.
And it seems that you have no clue how LoL works.
