The announcement in Surgeon Simulator was for their AMA they're doing tomorrow, the Steam support Korean thing was a joke about a screwed up HL2 patch.  I guess wait for August 20th, when gamescom starts, as valve will be there, and that's after Dota releases, so something new could show up.  Still hoping for Source 2, as it seems valve is readying for that to be revealed.

Isn't it about time for a summer sale? Most people will leave this announcement disappointed.

Valve's also holding The International in august, along with attending gamescom apparently.  Dota 2 comes out before TI3, so something's probably going down, especially with Source 2 apparently finished. (also look at the Source 2013 release, documentation refers to it as "Source 1")

Having worked with Hammer all day, hopefully Source 2 is being announced with L4D3 or HL3.

steam may be stuff, but its still the best out there. i haven't found a single service which is better

Humble and GOG are really good services that you don't have to go through an application to use.  Of course Steam has the AAA support as it's also a DRM solution, but without a good software solution, Steam isn't the best option out there.  Look at Origin, they're actually getting pretty good.

Troll thread, but still, let's face it, Steam is stuff.  It's slow and generally bad.  As a service, it's pretty great, but as a program it sucks.  Source has also been pretty behind for a while, having only added cascaded shadow maps this past year.  Its art pipeline also sucks complete ass. 

Valve isn't perfect, but they do make damn good games.  Let's hope Source 2 blows us away like Source 1 did, and let's hope when Source 2 comes soon, Valve also upgrades Steam.

the "wub" synth gets a little annoying because it never stops.  It's also pretty bland, try new things with the genre, instead of the plain old jungle format that's been around the past few years.

Not surprised. As they ban almost every M rated games.

They just got their equivalent of the M rating not too long ago, this is the first game to be refused classification since then.

Good, maybe it will become watchable again.  Seriously, he was annoying as hell.  All he did was yell non-sequiturs and stumble over basic concepts.  That Punch Out thing was actually quite good.

No, it's not another arg.  It's a joke.  The joke is that the "Unexpected results" are that your game is in Korean.  Stop taking everything Valve says as the start of another arg.  If HL3 is going to be announced soon, it will be at Gamescom in August.  I have my doubts though, if anything that will be L4D3 running on Source 2, a Free to Play screening, or something to do with the Steam Box. 

The bug was fixed now, so anyone worried that HL2 will be in Korean has nothing to worry about.
