Basically you describe the game you played as much as you can, and if someone knows it they tell you what it is.
I don't think people can help unless we get as much information as possible. A timeframe (either a specific date or just a range of years), a platform, genre, any key facts about the game (like gameplay, art details, something you remember about the title etc) would all be helpful. Hell, if you could post images (either drawn by yourself or just screenshots of similar games), that would make it even easier to help.

This is a game that, to be honest, was probably a fake memory. It's kinda vague in my mind.
It was some sort of space racing game, like F-zero, where there's a track... and... well I don't even know if you were racing anything. It was a pixelated, pseudo-3d sorta racer. I think the car's/hovercar's color was green maybe? For all I know it could've been part of a plug-and-play game.

Yeah idk if anyone's gonna know that but I suppose I'll try.

Now tell us what games you want to remember but can't.

General Discussion / Gr8dayseth's Blocko City DM! (still down)
« on: January 11, 2015, 11:02:30 PM »
So, yeah. The not-so-famous deathmatch server creator is back. And for no real reason in particular, it is set in Blocko City, that ye olde save from the interior ages.
Disclaimer: I didn't make this masterpiece, it was made by Lord Tony and his minions or something. You can find it by using the search button because I'm lazy, and I've already had this topic reset once so bleh.

The weapons that will be used are randomized, the packs are a mix of tier+tactical, frog's weaponry+wwii pack, and bushido's quake weapons. I realise that they won't be as balanced when they're mixed together, but this isn't really serious. It's randomized after all.
I'm making a few additions to this, I'm not touching the things that are already there, just expanding.
Also I'm probably maybe gonna have a daycycle? Maybe not until I start expanding to the roof?

Slideshow time.
Sorry for any image compression done by imgur.

Here's some expansion so far, nothing too major yet. You can now go onto this part.

The teledoor leads to here, chances are if I expand enough I'll ditch the teledoor and make long-ass stairs or something.
Also I'll actually put some stuff here soon.

Yeah this server's been running for a while now, just a few hours until 99:59.

I would take some pictures of gameplay, but atm nobody's here yet.

It's dedicated and hosted on Blocknet.
Anyways, discuss.

god damn it jofy

So I recently found out about this and thought "we need this in blockland asap"

Whoever's making this can redesign the back part of it cause it looks kinda ugly tbh

Off Topic / How many alts do you have (if any)?
« on: December 18, 2014, 05:03:26 AM »
As for me, none yet.

So vote and/or post how many alts you have, and if you want to, post the names.
Just curious.

Help / I can't pick up sports balls at all when I'm in a minigame
« on: December 17, 2014, 07:58:52 PM »
This started happening quite a while ago, someone else had the problem but it wasn't solved:

How do I fix it?

Suggestions & Requests / spawn zombie bots within a radius?
« on: December 17, 2014, 06:40:14 PM »
I recall this being made, but I'm not sure if it was private or not.
So yeah, I have a big build, too lazy to spawn zombie bricks everywhere, plus ya' know, it would lag because there were so many.

So I want an addon that spawns zombies within a certain radius around you, and if possible, despawn them if I or they get too far.

Help / onMinigameReset with relays doesn't work well with print all events
« on: December 06, 2014, 01:25:11 AM »
It's a little hard to explain.
So every 30 seconds in a minigame something happens with relays.
And I want to have a bottom print telling everybody that something's about to happen.
It works for the first round, but not on the rounds after that.

And another problem is that I'm giving a 5 second warning countdown, but the 6th event, the thing that says "thing has happened", doesn't ever show.

Note that the other thing with relays work but this print doesn't.

so the events are

33 onMinigameReset > Self > fireRelay
30000 onRelay > Self > fireRelay
25000 onRelay > Minigame > BottomPrintAll [5]
26000 onRelay > Minigame > BottomPrintAll [4]
27000 onRelay > Minigame > BottomPrintAll [3]
28000 onRelay > Minigame > BottomPrintAll [2]
29000 onRelay > Minigame > BottomPrintAll [1]
30000 onRelay > Minigame > BottomPrintAll [Test]

Games / Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball (woah it's now 2.0)
« on: November 26, 2014, 12:19:24 AM »

thanks to boink! for inspiring me to make this topic

SO WHAT IS THIS?
It's first person dodgeball inside a disco thing while you play as a robot thing that has a wheel
It's insanely fun

DODGEBALL?
Yep, but will lots of twists

WELL DOGGONIT TELL ME MORE ABOUT IT!
First of all, to get this out of the way, there's none of that "you can't cross the middle line" stuff. You can go anywhere around the arena. (Except inside the enemy's spawn obvs)
There's respawning, except in the elimination mode.
There's some fun modes like Capture the Cube, Hoops, Elimination, etc.
Instead of a flat area, it's an arena. Quite a few so far already.
Power-ups.

GOSH-GOLLY, THAT DOES SOUND FUN!
It is, very much so. Here's some other neat features that don't have a place:
Amazing soundtrack with things from Adhesive Wombat, Anoctave, and Kraedt
Pretty lights
Pick a mustache and shades for your robot
Pick a color for your robot to use in FFA modes
Power-ups such as jetpacks, homing, and big-ball

SO HOW DOES THE BALL STUFF WORK?
When you spawn, you don't start out with a ball. You're defenseless without one. You have to pick up one of the many that will be scattered around in the arena. When you pick up one, you can charge up a shot to pass it to a team-mate, or what you'll want to do more, destroy an enemy. Insta-kills. Careful, they can catch it and you'll die, but it's difficult to do so. Your ball becomes safe after 2 bounces.

Here's the official description, he might tell things better.

It's still in early access so while there's already a bunch of stuff in the game, there could be more later.
Anyways, here's the steam page:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/270450/
It's $10.
Even if it won't be on sale for the fall sale thing it's still worth a try if you're even slightly interested.

General Discussion / So where are these ultra/soft shaders?
« on: November 04, 2014, 05:30:15 PM »
So now that I can run shadows 'n stuff normally now, for some reason I can't find where these other shaders are for the life of me.
Wasn't there like togglable ones as well? As in not replacing the normal shaders completely?

Gallery / I can finally run shadows! (DLs now included)
« on: October 28, 2014, 06:44:41 PM »
After this long, I got a new computer, was slightly depressed that it was an Intel core, but I updated OpenGL and... look I've never gotten to experiance shadows on here yet so I'm excited ok?

Side project I'm working on.

All those except for the one in the middle, me, are bots. They drive fairly well, but the physics doesn't work well for them sometimes.

Start of the "race"

Not too many crashes y-

Welp.

A short underpass part.

Again, but accidental non-DOF. Still looks good though.

Same place again. If you couldn't tell, the light changes.

Playing around with Mr. Wallet's Bot Wars add-on, it still works to this day, just not with slayer enabled unfortunately.

Build was from Mr. Wallet's Bot Wars topic, not sure if that download still works though. There were a bunch more arenas, but most of them were unfinished and just a pain to look at. This is the main arena.

One of my old DM builds. It looks much better with shadows, although still not the prettiest to look at.

My most recent DM build. I tried to fit a good amount of everything in here.

Love this effect so much.

Main area.

Same area, but at a different time of day to show this off.

I probably could've gotten better shots on some of these, but frankly I don't really care about that right now.

Suggestions & Requests / Save Favorites
« on: October 26, 2014, 02:24:52 PM »
I suggested this once, it died out. I still want this, especially since I moved to a new computer and the dates are out of whack.

Basically in the load menu, there will be a tick or something that will set a save to be a favorite.
There will also be a button or a sorting option there to show only the favorites.

This is useful for those like me who keep many versions of many saves and sometimes call them "fohagjuigueijge" or "((((((((-------awesomedmyeah" or something like that.

Off Topic / So I had a dream about Midtown Madness 2 last night.
« on: October 17, 2014, 09:18:12 AM »
I decided to put this here instead of games, cause I'm not really talking about a game but telling my dream about it.

For those who don't know what it is, it's basically an old game by Microsoft where you can cruise around or race in a bunch of cars in San Francisco or London. It's still p. fun up to this day.

Anywho, in the dream, apparently they had just came out with an official MM2.5 or something, and it only changed a few things, for instance, it added two cites. Chicago(in the first game, but someone recently actually finally ported this, you can download it somewhere) and some add-on city someone made that doesn't really exist. And in the cars, every single default car was for some reason cut out of the game, and added in a couple of detailed cars instead that were crap. So I went online to see if there was a way to put back in the old cars, there was. So I did it. But I played in some sort of minivan on the non-existent add-on city. Apparently the traffic changes based on what car pack you used. I found some bugs. Then the game crashed. Then I tried to launch it again. Then I got that annoying microsoft word YIKES! message. Then I woke up.

This is how you know you've been playing it too much lately.
