Games / PS4 Software Download

Hello everyone! This topic is about the PS4 and it's software update.

When the PS4 is launched, they will be performing a massive software update to all PS4 systems. Everyone will be performing this update simultaneously when they get their systems. This could take some time and the update may be slow.

To avoid this, Sony released an early software update that can be downloaded via USB to PS4. All you have to do is go to their website and then follow the directions.

Help / Is Blockland down or something?

I tried to open up Blockland and a warning popped up. The warning says "Trying to write without having successfully downloaded a manifest.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I haven't seen Badspot online in awhile, nor have I seen an update in a few months. I don't really know if he has another job, or he's just being a bit lazy.

Off Topic / Do you think we should increase funding for NASA?

I honestly believe we can make an investment in space. Not only this, but find other life forms like us and other planets that we can inhabit some day. NASA is currently researching ways of traveling faster than the speed of light. This itself can serve great purpose in the future of space travel.

The sad part of this though, is that they have little funding to fulfill any of this

Suggestions & Requests / A working fire mod

If anyone doesn't know of this I will explain.

Fire mod (or burn mod) is a mod which catches bricks and fire and slowly destroys them (like a real fire) But sadly, the mod was a failure and too buggy for public release. The creator of the mod said he would work on it, but he never did.

Can anyone try to re-create this mod to where it doesn't have so many bugs?

Off Topic / Anyone else sick of the Trayvon Martin case?

Seriously, I'm sick of all these nationally-televised cases. They are basically just telling us what happens every day and that is just average people getting murdered.
I even went so far as to watch Fox News, but they are still showing the same stuff.

2 people a week get murdered in Chicago and no one gives a damn, but when some random black kid gets murdered it's a national tradgedy.

Dicuss these handicapped cases.

I'm going to Illinois in about a week to visit relatives and this is my first time riding a plane. I also have to get there at 5am. It will take 4 hours to get there.

So I will be needing some relaxing/good music for the ride.

Any suggestions?

Post your thoughts for future updates to the game.
We all have something that we want added to make Blockland better, so I've made a thread to hear your thoughts about want you want added.

Ideas:
-Higher brick limit
-More Default Add-Ons
-Light Editor
-Motion Blur
-Alphabetically-arranged light menu
-Ability to have our own callback for 'No' for MessageBoxYesNo instead of using the serverCmd
-Add-on system for FX sprays
-Better vehicle physics
-height control for vehicles sounds nice, since you'd be able to maintain plane/helicopter height
-Precipitation that collides with bricks
-Raycasting, Colliding and Rendering checkboxes for music bricks
-Better hat mod

Drama / When there are no admins on a server

This stuff happens.

Honestly, there were 2 admins online and both went AFK. Then some troll decided to man the controls and died when a winner was picked.
Then everyone tried to form a ladder into the box so they could man it themselves.

Why even be an admin on a server if you're not gonna watch over it?

He died of a heart attack at age 51.

So I've been browsing the Internet and I came across videos of this game called "The Better Mod" that looks like a beta version of Blockland. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfpXYTYs7Po

It also has a website that mentions Blockland directly. http://www.theorangeblock.org/

So was this just the Alpha version of Blockland or something else?
