Fun fact: Lots of people aren't driven by money, and with a lot of the negative comments made towards him during the whole EULA thing, I wouldn't be surprised if he's not been feeling too good as of recent.

His official explanation for why he's leaving. I have to admit, it's pretty teary. This definitely sucks, but this would confirm the Microsoft-buyout is convenient, but not the cause. I wish him the best and I'm looking forward to seeing what stuff I can learn from him in the future.

It's very much the Swedish personality, though. A lot of them don't want to be big and want to be quiet and reserved.

You'd think since the dude got a billion dollars out of this he'd be happy, but no.

He didn't even say we were sending combat troops to there, he just said we would fund, train and equip people who could fight on our behalf. He also said he'd implement even more airstrikes in Iraq including Syria.
