Help / Can you hold a tool without having the HUD shown?

I'm tired of having to see the HUD for the tools and want to know if there's any simple way to turn it off.

Yeah, I'm going to Suffolk on Saturday and coming back on Sunday - most likely Sunday evening. So I won't be on Steam and I might see some fellow British forumers if possible. I just wanted to make you guys and shortage of girls clear why I won't be posting on Saturday.

I was flicking through my posts to a page to find something to look back on and then I got to a particular page, and it said malware was detected. It wasn't an American site or British site.

I tried to restart Steam and I did, but I can't seem to find my graphics card selection. ( Yes, I have one. ) It won't let me launch the configuration properly. Can someone PLEASE help?

I ordered Sonic Generations off Amazon a few hours ago, and now I'm not sure if I can still have it as an official Steam game (not have to add a non steam game).
Can I still register the game so it isn't non-steam?

Mapping Help / pixelating parts of maps

I keep getting these blurry lines over the original map's layout and it's really annoying. I tried to take a few photos but they didn't have the blurs and when I print screen'd they weren't there. Can someone tell me a console command that stops me or something?
