The thing is that $8 an hour is barely enough to live
No matter what educational background (or lack of one) one has, they should always not have to worry about not having a place to live or having food to eat.
It's not just fast food workers, its a lot of people who make minimum wage
Even laborers who do all the things we don't want to do and work their asses off can make pretty crappy wages.
I just think no matter what a job is, a person should at least be able to live a healthy life with their income.
