Honesty I can't say I agree with ALL of the admins chosen, some can be a bit abusive at times.
It's important to note that in this server there are a few unwritten rules. The admin who watches over the server can interpret the rules in his/her own way and tell you what the rules are to him/her. It would be important to follow these rules when this particular admin is watching over the server. However, this only applies to logical jail-related rules (for example, their definition of free-killing). If an admin is banning someone for saying something slightly stupid or mean, just because it hurts their pride, I think that is borderline abusal of admin abilities.
To basically summarize this: Each admin has his/her interpretation of the rules. Some are very lenient and some are strict. Make sure you find out the rules from the admin before playing to avoid any accidents!
For this particular example, you may want to talk to Tezuni through the forum (he is usually quite busy in-game to answer rtb messages) if I recall correctly, I dont want to speak for him.

Votekick is one of the worst add ons I've seen
It's abused a majority of the time and rarely solves anything
When you allow stupid people to make decisions, they're going to make stupid ones.
That being said, the server cannot be monitered 24/7 by an admin, it's inevitable that people are going to abuse that fact.
I would just suggest you write down the BL ID of whoever freekilled and report it here or to an admin on the server. I'm sure someone will be happy to help you.
