It's true that SSD are immune to mechanical failures and magnetic radiation but if a SDD would happen to get wet, you can remove the platters from a HDD but you lose your info on the SSD for good.

By recycle he means strip systems' useable parts to use as a backup incase something happens or just sell them. I burnt my Xbox, stripped it and sold the parts.

I have this Seagate IDE drive, 10 years of age, 120GBs, 5200RPM, has a few bad sectors, gives an opera when writing/spinning and it STILL works.

I've had the same Seagate IDE for 10 years. Seems like Seagate is virtuably failproof from what you've posted and from what I've read from other forums.

First, this should be under General Modification Help. Second, if you bother looking at that board, you'd see a few tutorials stickied. You should read them. One gives a step-by-step explanation of what you should do to make vehicles and weapons. You also need a basic knowlege in Torque scripting. You can see tutorials or ask for help in the board Coding Help.
