have you gone into your nvidia control panel? are you plugged into the gpu or the mobo?

No I haven't and its plugged into the gpu.

EDIT: Plugging it into my tv lets me select 1920x1080 but now once windows boots on my monitor nothing shows up and the monitor goes to sleep mode.

even if you right click desktop and go to Screen Resolution it won't let you adjust it?

Yes thats what i tried its grayed out.

Finally got my 1070 set up but the resolution is stuck at 800x600? What do I do? I already installed drivers.

Okay it arrived like 10 minutes ago but I can not for the life of me fit this in my case. Pcpartpicker says its compatible am I just lowering it into my case wrong?

How could you be surprised by the tax? It's not like it's a different rate than any other normal consumer item.

Last big purchase was a ps4 im not used to paying taxes that high

probably mean the founder's editions which nobody wants to buy cus they SUck!!! and are more expensive when you can just wait for cheaper and better models

the SC and FTW models are the ones people really want

Do you mean wait for the cheaper $380 model or do you consider $10 off to be cheaper? But I do agree the sc and ftw do go out of stock pretty quick.
