Because what content does blockland have now lmao. Dead servers of rehashed ideas from 5+ years ago. No wonder everybody is already migrating I'm sick of hopping on and seeing rising lava and it's the exact same gamemode from 2014. Except thats every server nowadays originality went out the door when all the good content creators dipped on this game. I dont think in the last 3 months I saw any refreshing ideas being hosted besides national socialist Zombies.

Yeah, brickadia at this stage isn't ready to dethrone blockland but it will eventually. So many people already migrated just because of the boredom with modern day blockland. I just hope we get a creeper mod in brickadia thats one of the most unique bl gamemodes.

I can host with different names, it makes no difference. If the server isn't a loving grapple knife tdm or city rpg then it's dead.
That's the problem you havent reinvented or made a gamemode fun enough to stop people from playing the same gamemodes for years. I did freeze tag and that got players because it's a fun simple party gamemode. If i see an rpg on the server browser that doesn't sound interesting to me because how will it be any different from all the rpgs I've played over the years. Part of the reason boss battles still gets players after 8 years is that the gamemode was really fitting for blockland.

I think this time it isn't a joke though. 10 players on right now while brickadia has 83 nobody has come up with an original fun gamemode in years. Blockland is going to bleed out all players this time, most of the ones left here have already migrated.

I think brickadia will be the thing that finally kills the blockland playerbase because in a way it's too late to try and revive blockland. Blockland kept bleeding players because people got bored with playing the same gamemodes over the years. The people who were making and scripting new gamemodes weekly have left and nothing new is being created. Boss Battles and Murder mystery both debuted in 2011 and are usually the most popular servers nowadays besides some generic deathmatch. It is a problem when the only gamemodes fun enough to play are 8 years old eventually most people are going to grow tired of playing the same thing. This is why we keep bleeding players because eventually, people realize a new gamemode isnt going to pop up on the server list and it isn't worth opening the game anymore to play the same thing they've been playing for years. Badspot has no reason to update the game because all that effort would still net little financial gain for him. All the creativity blockland once had is not present anymore every server has been done already and with many people already migrating to brickadia I doubt it can be saved. Munk created throwmod 8 years ago still hosted today, Rising lava 2013, Randomizer 2014, Speedkart 2013, Prison Escape >2013, Falling Platforms 2012. I could go on and on every server nowadays is a rehash of something done years earlier and the pattern is not going to change.

This game had an amazing heyday for what it is, hail Blockland. The future of brick-based building games still holds the immense potential, but I will always respect Blockland.
Blockland isn't losing players because it's out of style its losing players because the people who made original and creative left in the "heyday". Remember when Munk made throwmod for the first time 2011 so why literally 8 years later has throwmod not changed since he made it but it is being hosted. Remember when Zapk popularized rising lava in 2014 and now 5 years later people still host what he created and stopped updating years ago. What about falling platforms literally Minecraft and Roblox strongest parts of there games are their community and creativity. The people that scripted gamemodes themselves and kept that addon private while being the top server are gone. Nowadays everyone hosts something someone already did this bores long-time players so they leave too. I'm excited about national socialist zombies because since 2011 no one has fleshed it out into a gamemode before now and that is such a simple but fun gamemode that bl needs right now. Great builders can now make awesome designed layouts and builds and have a gamemode that everyone knows that is fresh and that has replayability.

That's not even the problem is this game is boring because nobody makes fun servers anymore. If we went to f2p are you saying you want to send the influx of new users into some rp or boss battles this game bleeds users because nobody hosts interesting stuff anymore and that's the truth. I open the server browser and I literally see the same game modes I've been playing for 6+ years. They don't reinvent anything they just hope their pretty building can hold together the lack of fun and rewarding gameplay. Why would someone want to go back to this game when all there is to go back do is the same thing they've been playing forever and gotten tired of. This was fine years ago when we had so many new and creative servers popping up in addition to the recycled game modes. I used to be able to weekly open the server browser and see something new at the top. Who else remembers when cucumberdude first made murder mystery and that was awesome. But that was also 7+ years ago and we can't play the same gamemodes with not enough meaningful game play changes. The problem is that all the talented builders have to be their own project leads and end up creating subpar gamemodes that fade from the server browser fast because they aren't fun.

TL;DR If we went f2p or somehow gained a large number of users what gamemodes are they going to play to keep them entertained. Freebuild, speed kart and boss battles don't cut it. Nothing new and creative is being made anymore because all the creative hosts got bored.

But don't worry freeze tag is coming :).

The map looks pretty similar to Farad's parkour construction site from 2014. Randomizer too me doesn't add anything from most deathmatches and trying too modernize and flesh it out into a full gamemode is a respectable idea. But rehashing a gamemode that already had little depth to it won't work. You are a great builder but the projects you seem to take up die pretty quickly because they lack innovation. Capture points had a great map but at the end of the day team deathmatches in blockland get old fast. The random aspect of this game mode won't keep it fresh because too most people it's probably gimmicky. Boss battles is one of the most popular servers nowadays and it came out in 2011. Since its inception, it changed very little because it was a fun and fitting gamemode for blockland despite it being a super simple idea.

Maybe I'm wrong but the fact you mentioned the server doesn't get boring and that this post and the server after 2 days have gotten very little attention leads me to believe this gamemode will fail too. Not that I want it too but it seems like another gamemode that doesn't innovate its source material and blockland right now needs something original and fresh.  My suggestion would be to on your next gamemode endeavor really look at doing something that hasn't been done in blockland or maybe that never took off in the way it should have.

But again maybe I'm wrong and this is the gamemode people want right now but honestly, I doubt it.

Actually, I hadn't heard of adventure pack before now but that looks like a very good option. Tier tactical has been done to death in so many gamemodes and its kind of old at this point the weapons aren't classics just the only thing people like using. I think the adventure pack weapons look simple and fit the style well and would have a good place in the game mode.

Gravity cats are meh sweps is probably the best option right now unless you redo drendrans black ops 1 pack but those weapons werent very good either.
