Dear France,

France, you were with us since the very beginning: from 1776 to 2001, you've been by our side. Thank you, and our condolences for the events of today.

Islam is Arabic for surrender or submission, in other words "Submission By Force".

Submission... to God, not to any political authority. In other words, devotion and faith.

(Also, in regard to that "law of Taqiya" - it only permits lying about their faith, not about anything. So if you're at risk of death if you admit to being a Muslim, you are theologically permitted to lie for your life. It does not pertain to secular matters.)

That will only make things more expensive. I'm not sure if you know how economics work or not.
perhaps true, but if wages don't go up but prices do then it's a bigger problem.

You don't understand the economy do you? Minimum wage is supposed to be the minimum you can live off of. Prices haven't been going up because we are not putting an excessive amount of money into circulation. If we up the wages then prices will follow. Another side affect is that people won't want to do jobs we actually need like law enforcement because they can get payed more for doing practically nothing.
and by 2018, $8 will not be the minimum to live by
minimum wage NEEDS to be raised (although as Headcrab said $15 is a little too much)
and jobs like law enforcement will get higher wages to compensate

I'd be fine with "focused" wage increases for certain types of jobs like Fast food. An overall increase would hurt small business owners more than it would the large corperations and my boss can barely afford me as it is. Just because we run a business doesn't mean we're made of loving money. But of course hardly anybody thinks about much less understands that because they're all scrambling to make an easier buck only to see an increase in prices to compensate for the wage increase.
i see your point, but the thing is that if wages are raised in fast food, then it means there's going to be a labor-wage imbalance between fields and everyone will try to leave the other fields to go to fast food

and that's a problem

(also $15 might be a little bit high, $12 is probably more reasonable by 2018)

Um if wages go up so will prices, i'm not paying more for something that isn't worth it.
people being able to live is not worth it
okay i guess

chances are, prices won't skyrocket that much, especially if it's only one company (as better workers will go to that company rather than others, increasing productivity)

It is minimum wage because it requires minimum skill. It should be enough to live in a small apartment and pay for basic necessities not live your life off of. This is dumb and I know where I won't be eating.
you won't eat somewhere because they pay their workers too much.
the forget? even if you don't agree with $15 being minimum wage, for god's sake at least encourage don't discourage companies that do pay that

This.
A stupidly high minimum wage is one thing
But why do ask these people proposing these bills think it should apply to only one job?
Minimum wage is $7.25
hence the strike-out
i agree that if fast food is raised, everything else should be too

if you're making $10/hr you're not making minimum wage, which wouldn't be legal under this? nevermind it specifies fast food workers
yeah if they're going to raise it for fast food they should just raise minimum wage

this doesn't mean companies go bankrupt
this was ford's (i think) strategy when he started his company - pay his employees almost triple normal wage, and get the best of the best. productivity and innovation skyrocketed.
likewise, In-N-Out (a fast food chain in the southwest US). they pay their employees a lot, and they work really hard to maintain a clean place and produce lots of tasty burgers. the company is doing really well, while places like McDonalds (which pay like minimum wage and only charge a little bit less for their burgers) are generally disliked

perfect policies can't help a country with idiots running it and terrible policies won't kill a country with brilliance running it
yeah i know
what's written is more a loose guide, since a forum RP is qualitative
if you're being an oppressive dictator like Stalin then the lower-class happiness bonus from communism isn't going to apply

also i was going to write one for religious fundamentalism until i realized it used the same positions as fascism (depending on whether it's to be interpreted as autocratic or monarchic)
