bing bong
yes hello I would like to check into my hotel

Sensing conflict, the USSR calls for a summit between us, the USA, the UK, China, and the two Vietnams for possible discussion of a no-invasion treaty (basically a pre-emptive peace treaty to prevent the Vietnamese War). However, defensive alliances still stand.

i dunno the sciences are all fairly easy to me, but it's hard to say the order since i've only taken AP bio (though i've taken all the regular ones)

although i do find that kind of weird since chemistry is more math than anything while biology actually requires understanding stuff

forget i've been sick with like 3 different things it SUCKS
including strep and an ear infection
and also excusitis

sorry i'm lazy :(

but really, the huge reason i haven't been updating is that half the players don't even care anymore; italy isn't responding to anything i ask him, neither was france before it died, and neither was russia before IT died. obviously the triple alliance thing is going on and everyone in that seems pretty invested. the ottomans, britain and spain are at least putting up a fight, but they're not really participating in actual player interaction and ultimately that's what the game is about and when half the players decide to be sore losers stop playing it's not really possible to keep the game going.

i should note that this is partially my fault, i shouldn't have combined the diplomacy and move submission phase because then it kind of motivates people to just skip out on diplomacy and go straight to the moves, and when that happens it's kind of hard to enjoy the game, especially if you're not doing so hot - and it's hard to recover unless you find an ally to back you up, which, of course, you just skipped out on.

i suppose i might as well keep updating, but unless something major happens it's pretty clear who the winners will be anyway

with the new space research (improved communications, advanced rocketry, solid fuels) of the soviet union, we send a vastly improved comms satellite into geosynchronous orbit
this is a great day for the soviet union, for it means satellite communication is soon possible

wait did the US accept
North Vietnam accepts.
assuming the US accepted, can USSR into alliance?

also self-reminder: update tech

why would it even concern us
I was talking from an OOC perspective, sorry for the confusion
I dunno usually when you decline something you're supposed to give a reason but whatever

2799

for arizonans, and likely most southwesterners:
moon will rise already in a partial eclipse; total eclipse between 7:11 and 8:24;  eclipse ends at 9:27
