Annoying Orange is permanently endangering the US's international relations by retaliating against allies
that's all i came to say really
Annoying Orange is permanently endangering the US's ________ by ________
Now we can play mad libs!

But on the topic of that first blank being "international relations," ripping up the Iran Deal and strangling the WTO by blocking all appointments to their appeals board so that other countries can't appeal our new trade sanctions is a sure way to go. Annoying Orange is making it very clear that the US shows about the same level of respect towards international organizations, institutions, and treaties as Germany did in the 1930s. How does anybody expect other countries to trust the US if we can't abide by a treaty signed just a few years prior? If we make active efforts to weaken international institutions? If we launch trade wars against our closest allies? If we blatantly ignore the consensus of UN resolutions and positions just to appeal to domestic voters?

Donald Annoying Orange ran on the idea that he would make the rest of the world respect the US again. Instead, he's made the world despise us.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
If the California Republican Party didn't want their organization to be linked to Neo-national socialists, maybe they shouldn't let Neo-national socialists run under their name. Besides, these things are automated, as Darryl alluded to; Google isn't actively plotting to take them down. Instead, it's likely that there were a lot of searches for "california gop national socialist" or there were a lot of articles linking the two, and thus the automated keyword system associated them. It seems that Google is able to manually override this, but otherwise it's not in their control.

"In March, former American national socialist Party leader Arthur Jones ran unopposed in the GOP primary for Illinois’ Third U.S. Congressional District, and will represent the party in November’s general election."

His plans (emphasis mine):
"I propose a government that makes counter-semitism central to all aims of the state. A government:
1) Of a People, for that people, free from jews
2) That cannot revoke the right to bear arms, such that this people can remain free from jews
3) that forbids all immigration except of biological kin, where no person of jewish origin may live, vacation, or traverse"

Perhaps it's wise not to read too far into this, but it seems that the California GOP is aware of this individual (running unopposed in their name!), and after reading their Constitution and doing some other research, it is entirely within their right to expel him. It seems they would rather run a Neo-national socialist than nobody - and maybe that says something.

As seen in this list of successful self reliant economies:

"the Soviet economic model was a disaster, therefore socialism will never work. now let's make a self-sufficient, closed economy!"

So, are there any lost addons here that are actually useful?

just saw the movie

they could have easily defeated/stopped thanos had they not succumbed to their emotions (eg. starlord punching thanos causing him to regain control, wanda not destroying vision's stone earlier due to her hesitation and attachment to him).

honestly the ending is all starlord's fault. if he had not punched thanos they could've had enough time to grab that dang gauntlet off his hand and take him out for good.
doctor strange knew he was going to do that - he saw all possible futures, and apparently losing in the short term was the only way to win in the long term

but yeah wanda really loving pissed me off in this movie, she valued the life of one person who was willing to sacrifice himself over loving trillions
and don't give me any of that "trading lives" bullstuff, in trying to remove the stone safely, tons of wakandan soldiers died in the battle
that seems like trading lives to me

How strange. It's not like there's any perceptual tricks like with the dress where your brain corrects for the lighting - it's just, like, one clip of audio.

EDIT: Okay, I messed with it in Audacity for a bit. If I pitch it down one octave, it doesn't sound like either; too distorted. If I pitch it down two octaves, I can just barely make out a distorted "yanny." But I had to pitch it down TWO OCTAVES to do that, so I don't know how anyone can hear "yanny" normally. I can also hear it if I apply an extremely strong high-pass filter at 2000Hz, but again, this is such a strong effect that I can't imagine anyone hearing that normally.

EDIT2: Try this out: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/05/16/upshot/audio-clip-yanny-laurel-debate.html
This lets you distort the frequencies to "hear" both. I had to go to the 2nd notch from the right to start hearing both words equally, and 1 notch to hear yanny unequivocally. What's your critical point?
And, for what it's worth, the original clip says "laurel," with some distorted higher frequencies added to trip people up.

I've seen some videos deconstructing this, and yes, it seems to have layered audio. "Laurel" at low pitch, "yanny" at high pitch. But it still baffles me that anyone can hear "yanny" in this - the low pitches are just so much more dominant. I literally cannot hear "yanny" no matter what I do. It's so obviously "laurel" on my phone, my desktop, AND my earbuds.

t. unironic communist
i was actually just commenting on how the right's definition of "communism" continues to get broader, more nebulous, and less useful as time goes on but okay

first, a society without private property was communism
then a state-controlled economy was communism
then government-funded social programs were communism
then taxes were communism
now regulations are communism
soon: all laws are communism
and then: anything short of anarcho-capitalism is communism

In his defense, Bannon isn't a career politician - he was a news exec that entered politics to work with Annoying Orange. But surely it says something about the current administration that the POTUS' former strategic adviser was apparently working deliberately to suppress black voters.
He may not have been a career politician, but being the chief executive of a presidential campaign and the chief strategist of a presidential administration definitely qualifies as a "politician" to me.

I always love it when politicians admit to being complete scumbags. Like with the Nixon adviser's quote.
