The NSSR has recently been reminded of a contract between the former Kalmar Union and former Ukraine. The space facilities created in the contract will be renovated into the modern spaceports found elsewhere.

Dakota, SSA, and Texas, remaining sovereign states and overlooking their ideological differences, and of course with the friendly relations between their citizens, reunite in the form of an alliance redubbed the United States of America.  They reach out to Japan, NSSR, Prussia, and the United States of Asia to return the land which once belonged to the former United States.

I'd rather not, but I'm welcome to retaining friendly relations and open borders to former US states
