Half the people in this thread probably don't know the full history of the flag. And they probably think that the civil war was based 100% only on racism and slavery.

it was only really 90% based around slavery, that is true

and the whole confederate-rebel-redneck-southern mentality thing is dumb
flying the confederate flag is basically flying a middle finger to the rest of the country

Which confederate flag are we talking about? Stars and bars, 2nd, 3rd, Alabama battle flag, SC battle flag, VA battle flag? Because there isn't just "the" CSA flag.

I own 2 flags and will fly them on occasion, I will not take them down because some dumbass shot up a church.
