This is what I mean. Nobody has to make it, and if somebody does, great. But what we have works fine, so if you refuse to use it, then so be it. Beggars can't be choosers.

I don't like it when people assume everyone else knows VCE. Just because it's easy to you or because it comes naturally to you does not mean that it's the same for everyone else. Stop pulling the "Just use VCE" card for every suggestion it's applicable to. If they knew how to use VCE, they wouldn't be suggesting the add-on.

I've been playing Blockland for over 5 years and I still have trouble with VCE.

Also, if he's requesting something and specifically says he doesn't want to use VCE, then you should respect that.

I completely disagree.
If it can be done with VCE, it can be done with VCE. It's a waste of time to code an event for people who don't learn VCE - if we made a new event pack for everything VCE can do, we would have a very cluttered add-on list. Aside from being too lazy to learn VCE, there's no reason not to use it unless there's a situation where people event their own bricks, like in a CityRPG, with which there are already add-ons for.

Just because its do-able with VCE doesn't mean that it wouldn't be easier with an Add-on.

VCE is pretty easy to use.
