Games / Am I the only one pissed off about FTL?

What does that much money get you from this indie-game development team? Basically, a bare-bones game with very little mod support, no multiplayer, and not a single content update a year after it's release. It's been a year with nothing more than a single bug patch despite a massive budget and years of experience in the industry. FTL is a fun game, don't get me wrong, but when you buy a game this basic it's fair to expect future content; especially when there's no excuse on the developer's part for not releasing anything besides sheer laziness.

Compare this two-man development team to the two-man development team behind Terraria. Terraria didn't have a kickstarter, its developers had no previous experience in making video games, yet even after releasing a genuinely enjoyable game, they've since released two huge content patches and several smaller patches along the way. They didn't have the $200,000 headstart that the people behind FTL had, but the difference between the two games now is that people still play Terraria and FTL is pretty much completely irrelevant; which is a shame considering all the potential it had.

He started to really get on my nerves when he kept on posting fake pics in the Real Life Pictures thread and was just like "LOL guys sorry for those fakes i'll post real ones!"

Sorry if I sound like a dumbass, but sorry about those fake pics... just, safety and I don't wanna give out pics like that. I have a couple of real ones, if you wanna see, tomorrow.

So, I don't really like posting real pictures of myself, so I posted a few fakes. Don't worry, I'll stop this douchebaggery

My friend was nice enough to take a picture with my fav clothes :)

If you don't know, I got an operation... I think it turned out well. Sorry if I am too close to the camera

The images are broken because Skull Candy deleted them after the fact, which in hindsight was a smart move. Each of the three images were from different girls that Skull Candy claimed to be.

Then, after I posted the stocking lovey mode picture, he posted:

I would post a nice pic (not the Asian stuff) but I'm on my iPod touch... CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY

And rather than actually post the mythical pictures, he decides to send them to me via PM:



Now both girls are different, the second picture was extremely low resolution and of an Asian chick, and that one has been deleted.

The first image is still up (as of this posting) here and mirrored here in case he deletes it.

Obviously, I had a few understandable questions considering he'd lied 3 times prior and the 2 pictures he sent me didn't match.

Keep in mind this was only 7 days after I figured out this guy existed. I know next to nothing about him and I would've declined his steam friend request if it wasn't for Amaya.
