join the military if you have no other options, but i would highly avoid it unless you plan on going into one of the logistics/paper pusher positions. you do not want to be anywhere near combat.

Call people you don't know by their last name with the appropriate title.

Call friends by last name.

Call really close friends by first name.

Call teachers by last name followed by appropriate title.
