Most police officers I know that get stuck in schools see it as a punishment. Pretty much every cop in the world would rather be somewhere else than stuck at a high school all day waiting for the next Columbine.

At the tender age of 14, in my opinion I don't think most people are able to deal with the ramifications of love. STDs, pregnancy, etc. It just seems like something that boys do just to 'hit it and quit it'. People in general shouldn't be having love before they are ready to deal with the emotional and physical consequences, including pregnancy which can more-or-less alter your future drastically if you're unprepared; like most teen moms are. It's great that you were two years in, but teen boys especially are too young to appreciate the romantic aspect of it all and just take it as an opportunity to put their richard inside of something. Personally I would wait until a lot older; to make sure that the person was really in it for the long run. When did you break up with him?

I broke up with him about a year after.

And I was on birth control, we used a condom, and we were both virgins. It was essentially a zero-riam experience that took me to heights of emotional ecstasy with someone I loved. Why should I be shamed for that?
