Even with no prints enabled other than his, I cannot change the prints on his bricks.

Why is this?

Suggestions & Requests / A 2x2 SpawnPoint Brick
« on: August 01, 2012, 04:45:57 PM »
I kind of need this...it still has to function like a Spawn Point Brick except a 2x2 brick. It would have to look like a miniature of the actual spawn brick too, with the clear portion around it and arrow on the bottom.

Please?

Help / What the hell happened?!
« on: August 01, 2012, 11:55:06 AM »
I was working on this spawnroom, and I accidentally planted a 64x64 zone brick around it, so I deleted it, and this is what happened.

By saying <u></u>, <b></b>, <i></i>, and <s></s> in either Chat or Centerprint, Bottomprint, or Chatmessage events, you would be able to underline, bold, italicize, or strike through text in-game.

This would be a Server-Sided mod.

Is this possible? Without changing / modifying the current default font?

I know you can already bold fonts in-game, that would just be for in the regular chat.

Server Information

>stuffty Join Server Pic>

The current Gamemode is a mix of Capture the Flag and King of the Hill. Capture the enemy's Flag to earn 15 Points. The Control Point in the center of the map can be taken over at any time, and you are awarded 10 points for capturing it. Every day at noon EST the build will be reset, that leaves you plenty of time at night to set up your base and use it effectively in the morning [EST]. The Flag has a respawn time of 20 seconds when dropped. There are no Rounds, this would be quite inconvenient to builders if a team was winning every 10 seconds.

A new feature that has been added, thanks to Core, is the ability to donate points to your friends! Someone just saved your ass? Reward them with a couple points and form a friendship!
Note: You cannot give points to members on other teams, duh. Say /givepoints (Player) (Amount)

IMPORTANT: This server also features the new Dirt Tool by Xalos. You will notice that you are only given 1 Trench Tool, this is because you can press your “Jet” Key while using it to switch between Digging and Placing Dirt.

Server News and Updates

  • BETA v1.5: 7/29/2012 - Added New Playertype System, Trench Permits, Assist Kill Split, and Server Rules
  • BETA v2.1: 7/31/2012 - Added New Points System, New HUD, and New Arena. Points / Ranks / Weapons RESET

The Scoring/Points System

Your Score is equal to the amount of Points that you have to spend on weapons and tools in the various weapon rooms.

The current Scoring System works like this:

    •   Killing a Player: 5 Points
    •   Capturing the Point: 10 Points
    •   Capturing the Flag: 15 Points
    •   Recovering the Flag: 5 Points

The Points System will be reset at the end of BETA.

The Player’s Loadout

Your loadout is consistent in which types of weapons go in each slot:
    1.   Primary Weapon – Bring out the big guns here!
    2.   Secondary Weapon – Your trusty pistol for when your Primary runs out of ammo!
    3.   Melee Weapon – Shovels, Crowbars, Chainsaws, you name it!
    4.   Explosive Weapon – from Hand Grenades to Grenade Launchers!
    5.   Pill – MEDIC- oh wait.
    6.   Trench Tool – Use your “Jet” Key to switch between Digging and Placing dirt!

There are also pre-set Loadout packages that you can buy in the Loadouts Room. They include:

    •   The Engineer – Place Sentries to do the fighting for you!
    •   The Medic – Heal other people with your various gadgets!
    •   The Spy – Sneak up behind people when they least expect it!
    •   The Imperial Guard – The weapons of the future!

More will be added in the near future. Loadouts are currently: WIP

The User HUD Interface

Displayed on your screen at all times, this User Interface allows you to keep track of:

    •   Your Score / Points
    •   Your Ranking Number
    •   Your Current Health and Max Health
    •   Your Current Playertype
    •   Your K/D Ratio

Playertypes

There are 3 basic Playertypes that you are free to choose from:

    •   Fast – A Fast Playertype that has 50 Health
    •   Regular – A Normal Playertype
    •   Slow – A Slow Playertype that has 200 HP

Use these to your advantage and pick the right one for certain situations. Say /playertype help for more information on how to choose your Playertype. You can also say /Playertype Name to set your playertype.

Media

NOTE: The Mini-Nuke is only for display purposes; it is made impossible to pickup and use.

Suggestions & Requests / A 1x1 SpawnPoint Brick

Is this possible? It would have to function like an actual spawnpoint brick does.

General Discussion / Does anyone know the Default Font for Blockland?
« on: July 24, 2012, 05:04:53 PM »
Times New Roman and Georgia are very close, but I did some comparisons and neither are perfect matches.

Any guesses?

Could someone make an edit to the Save/Load weapons events on RTB so that they memorize which slot they are in on the player? If I have a pistol in my second slot and nothing in my first slot, I save, and when I load it gives me the pistol except in the first slot, not the second.

I appreciate it in advanced, thanks.

Suggestions & Requests / Score Saver: One that actually works

This would really be useful, zack's doesn't work with Slayer (not sure if it works alone either)

Suggestions & Requests / A new Slayer-Compatible Disguise Kit
« on: July 20, 2012, 04:36:36 PM »
This would be quite useful for a server I'm working on.

Greek2Me himself says it should be a simple edit to make it Slayer-Friendly.

Not much editing. You can probably find someone that wants to in S&R.

Could someone possibly make these edits?

I'm making a TDM, and I need a way so players cannot kill each other in the public spawn, and I found that the easiest way to do that is to have some sort of zone brick or something around the spawn and weapon rooms that keeps players from injuring each other - in other words an invincible player. Now, I would have them set to the invincible playertype, and then when they click the Minimap to spawn in the arena to fight it would switch them to the regular no-jet playertype.

Here's the problem with that: there's going to be an option where you can choose your playertype (Fast but 75 HP, Medium, and Slow but 150 HP) inside the spawn room, and I would rather have that option stay there. Well, these playertypes have health and therefore players can kill each other.

Believe me, I've found this "Invincible Zone" to be the easiest way around everything, as the above method is too inconvenient. I didn't start this topic to have my mind changed on something I'm set with, unless of course it is impossible, which I don't think it is.

Is it possible already with Zone Events? How? If not, could someone make a type of Zone Brick where "being in the zone" makes you untouchable without changing the playertype?

87
It lags for about 2-5 seconds, doesn't matter the length of the message.

Anyone know what mod it is or what is causing it? :/

88
Most of us know the SetInventory Output Event by Truce on RTB here, but you are only allowed to set items up to 5 slots, this limit is pre-set in the event.

What if you have 6, 7, or 8 slot playertypes? You're going to need a way to set items in those higher number slots (6, 7, 8).

Would this be possible? If so, could someone make these edits?

Suggestions & Requests / Combine the 2 Trench Tools into 1!
« on: July 12, 2012, 08:00:55 PM »
Placing dirt would remain as Mouse1, but digging dirt would be placed to your Jet key.

Quick edit, no? It would allow more slots in your inventory.

Could someone possibly make these edits or show me how?
It should just be a couple of easy edits.

There would be 3 playertypes total:
1. Slow (not too slow...), 150 health, can't jump very high (maybe just a 2x2x2 cube)
2. Regular player (only edit is the item slots)
3. Fast (not too fast...) 75 health, can jump higher than regular (10x10x10 cube)

All the Instagib Playertype. All the 7 item slots. Only difference between the 3 is the speed and health.
