Minecraft Beta version 1.8, or the Adventure Update, coming in around August 26th-27th, is a new major update for Minecraft, and possibly the last major update for Minecraft before the full version. I've gone on the Minepedia (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Minecraft_Wiki) and gathered information on the update.

Mobs:
Endermen- 3 block tall, Obsidian textured mobs that probably come out with the monsters at night. They have the ability to pick up, move, and place blocks, unknown if they can pick up player- placed blocks. If you put the crosshair on them, they will look at you until you move it away, then run up and attack you. If you are far enough, they can teleport, about once per second. Wearing a pumpkin allows you to watch them without them noticing you and attacking.

Dragon- Said to be have possibly added in the Spider Jockey update. Dragon lairs are also possible update. Either neutral or a hostile mob.

Silverfish- Texture for the mob found in the minecraft.jar folder. None of it known.

Areas:
NPC Villages: Randomly generated villages with humans in them. A therory states that if you treat them well, (Protecting, giving items) They will do the same. If you are bad to them (Killing them, stealing) They will burn your house down and an angry mob appears outside my bedrock walls (Yes, I inventory hack. :3)

Underground Ravines: Like in those treasure hunter movies, they are pools of water in an underground cave. They may lead to Strongholds. Possible that they can form above ground and make canyons.

Strongholds: Like forts, randomly generated. Also may lead to Underground Ravines.

Misc:
New stone blocks and mossy stone blocks. A bit of new bricks and items.

Huge Mushrooms: Title is self-explanatory.

What are your thoughts on the Adventure Update? Discuss hax.

Drama / Re: Tango's Family RP - Full of egoistic, abuseable Admin's
« on: August 10, 2011, 03:58:36 PM »
So what?

If he's an admin on the server he has the right to do what he wants.
If he was not an admin it would be better.

Tango's Family RP has lots of confusion, and it frustrates people. Ev and King might have just flipped off because THEY were frustated. You guys need to forget off and stop trolling the server for their actions.  I am not defending anyone here, I am stating my case.

Scrap that, I want an epic-looking invasion with fighter jets, B2's, [A]C-130s, UAVs and tanks.

Are you some loving kind of militaristic assbag? Why do you think we should throw our stuff somewhere random because they shot down a helo?

Double post is sorry. I do have suggestions. Can't hold them even though not taking them. Here you go.

KA-BAR Combat Knife (WWII Vintage Marine fighting knife) Insta-kill

Desert Eagle (We need Blockland's first DE with iron sights. :D) 1 shot kill close range, 2 shot kill medium range, 7 rounds= Magazine

L96A1 (Pretty nice British sniper) 2 or 1 shot kill, 5 rounds= magazine

M16A3 (Could we do selective fire? Single shot, 3 round burst, fully automatic, etc) With a forward grip. 2 shot kill. 30 rounds= Magazine

SPAS-12 (If possible, a button to put its folding stock down or up, down decreases recoil) 1-2 shot kill. 8 rounds= Magazine

M240B (Light machine gun, high damage, one of the fastest firing in the world) 2-3 shot kill, 100 rounds= Magazine

REC7 (Light carbine assault rifle, found it on Wikipedia and thought it was good) 1-3 shot kill, RIS system, 30 rounds= Magazine

XM207E1 (Stoner 63A Commando, drum magazine because of assault rifle clip size. Assault rifle/LMG) 2-3 shot kill, 80 rounds= Magazine

FIM-92A Stinger MANPADS (Disposable, one shot-use, lock-on aircraft missile launcher, heat seeking) Insta-kill vehicles, 400 damage

FGM-148 Javelin (Fires hugeass missile, goes directly up, then plummets down, reusable) Insta-kill vehicles, 400 damage, location or vehicle lock-on.

Equipment:

Flares (Red, blue, green, purple, orange, yellow) Right click to activate, left click to wave around, right click again to drop. Single use.

Laser designator (Use to point out targets to teammates to attack, shows as a primary area to go to) Multi- use, recharge after one use, only visible to teammates, only usable in minigames therefore.

Bowie Knife (Hugeass knife with brass knuckles.) Insta-kill, melee, and possibly bits of blood on it after every kill with it.

C4 (Everyone's favorite) Single use, multiple carried in one slot. Right click to deploy C4, then a detonator appears. Must detonate C4 before placing another. Left click to detonate. Possible detonator click animations.

Semtex (Sticky grenade. I'm getting too CoD. :3) Single use. If one is in inventory and another is picked up, it goes into the same slot. Beeps as thrown, sticky grenade.

I guess that's it. I just had to put these in. Sorry.

I do believe that this is a user issue, and not a debilitating bug.

Yes. It's a player issue. That's why you shouldn't enable Dragons on legitimate RP's. They cause trouble, just like having minigames on Family RP's. It's madness and even though I have had suggestions for that, everyone kills eachother and it's outrageous.

When do we receive this gift of badassery?

These can and do sometimes make nuisances in Family RPs or other legit RPs. They did in mine. I let them use it and people started godmodding and went like *burns down house* and when people shot them they went *doges*. And they spammed fire and annoyed me particuarly, so I disabled them.

We need this. This will change Blockland forever. I have tested these. They can kill OUTSIDE of a minigame.
How I see it, most of these are done. I guess these will be done around late 2011 or early-mid 2012.
We MUST use these before the world ends (or not :3).

Most of these, if not all, have the default gun's handgrip.
Models kick ass.
Retro meets modernization.
Who gives a stuff, these are still lovey.
Do want
