I said it before and i will say it again. This entire "thing" is handicapped and i don't know how, or why anyone here thinks its funny or cool. Its stupid and its taking up space.

Hey man, to each their own. All good. Just having fun here. There's a fair share of nebulous vapid crap around here, so...not sure about the "taking up space" argument. Especially as recording things is, for me, work towards a potential career. So I enjoy doing it and I find value in it.

i'm not entirely sure what i did expect though, lol

also, nice glasses, i wear glasses but i usually wear my contacts rather than my glasses (in other words bad eyesight sucks)

on a helpful note, warm up your voice by reading news articles or something, I mean if you ever were to do a talkshow on the radio, reading the news would warm you up for something like that

And yeah, I frequently read most things out loud. Strengthening the voice is important, and a lot of fun. I'm studying theatre presently, and I make a point of reading all assigned plays out loud to myself, a different tonality for each character at the very least. It's a loving workout.

I already work for a radio corporation's cluster in the Seattle area, but not as an on air person. I did one commercial that went on air, that's also on my soundcloud, but I'm mainly a producer and operator. Most of the people I work with have THE radio voices, it's amazing.

Ha, yeah it got me pretty stoked. I needed it though, I was collapsing at the board. Incidentally, I had to run four radio stations today so...needless to say, it helped. Crashed hard this afternoon, though.

I really needed some coffee when I was on my way to my 5 am shift, but Starbucks was not open yet. Needless to say, my shift was loving miserable. Until I scrounged up an energy drink.

Thanks, everyone. I do have intentions to pursue voice work, but I presently don't do anything with it. I just have access to professional recording gear at my work.

On a semi-related note, if anyone needs anything recorded for anything, I would be happy to give it a go. It would be great practice to continue developing my voice.
