Alright, so I've been saving up FOREVER to have a decent amount of money. At this point, my macbook is 5-6 years old and is...well, really worn down. I need a new computer sooner or later. The thing is though, I have access to the family iMac, which is rarely used, and is VERY new and in great shape.

My drumset is in a poor state. Used regularly for the past couple years, and it was well used when my brother bought it.

Basically, I have roughly 1200 bucks that I need to either spend on a new drumset, or a new computer.

The computer (no discussing that, it's what I would get). Note: I would need to borrow about 300 bucks from my parents for this, but because it's going to last me through college and is for education (mainly) I think they will be willing to do that.

The drum set. I can afford this on my own, but barely because aside from the shell pack I still have to buy the hardware pack.

So I want your input! It's a tough call for me, because, being in two bands, I can definitely make great use of a new kit. And needing the mobility of a laptop, I can really use a new laptop that can do stuff at a good speed.

I'm going to watch the movie version of The Wall tonight. Anyone seen any good rock operas lately? I saw Tommy last week and it didn't make any sense lul.

I was in a production of Tommy a month or so ago. The movie version of Tommy is pretty...well...crazy, and very 70's, but the rock opera stage show makes a lot more sense.

forget yeah, dude! Amazing album right there, seriously. They have a DVD in which they do the full album live straight through without stopping. Goddamn incredible.
