After my disappointment of being friend-zoned by the last girl I went after, there's somebody new. She's this girl in the cast of Tommy, she doesn't play a very big role, but there's a interesting story to the situation here. Also in the cast is my friend (let's called him Jeff, though that's not his name) Jeff. He already knows this girl, and he likes her. He told me. And he thinks that she likes him as well. Well, I don't doubt that, they're always talking and sitting by each other.

That discouraged me a little bit, until I talked to "Jeff". Jeff tells me they have a bad friendship; they fight a lot, and they're talking a bunch to figure out how to have a better friendship. Now slightly encouraged, backstage I get a chance to talk to this girl for a bit. Puttin' on the 'ol Trifax charm, she eventually says to me "You're funny, I like you". Which means nothing, but recognition of existence is a start. I've talked to her on FB for bit now, and I don't know.

I want to get to know her better, but that's hard to do since she's typically talkin' with Jeff at rehearsals. Oh! Almost forgot, when they were "fighting" (didn't really seem like it), I was standing there next to them while we were on break and all of a sudden she's like "alright, he's my friend now, and you're not". So the significance of that being they subsequently had a decently long talk that I later learned was partly about her saying she's my friend now. I have no forgetin' idea what is going on with them, but I'll end on this note: I want this girl.

Tips? Ideas? I'm just gonna keep trying to get to know her and work against getting friend-zoned again. Does that seem like a good idea?

This is one of my favorite plays to be in, but I'm not 100% because we haven't even ran the whole thing through. It should be good though, it really depends on how well the other kids can pull their weight. A lot of times in childrens theater, kids lack energy in their performance (or have to be told to look exciting), they aren't loud enough (or they don't project), and they're rather unfocused.

Fortunately, I've learned a thing or two in the years I've been doing shows, so I'm better than that. I'm pulling my weight.

If we get a video of it, I'll try my best to upload to youtube and show you all highlights of my tom-foolery as Cpt. Walker.

Last day in Florida party, our whole group of people went skinny dipping save a few, nobody else wanted in the picture though. The rest were girls and 2 other guys who were MIA at the time of skinny dipping.
