I drove in LA traffic a few weeks ago (with my learner's permit), hot damn what a busy city. Its also smoggy and ew.

I personally like driving so I found a road trip to be much less boring when you're driving and the terrain isn't boring.

^ this. I love driving, I'd like to try driving in L.A....when we were there last I didn't have my permit yet but I saw the ridiculous freeway driving. I feel like the city driving would be easier.

And...it wasn't too smoggy when we were there. Up on a hillside you could see all the way across L.A. to another hill.

as far as tablets go i would not get something from apple, i like watching non youtube videos online.

I recall seeing that the Xoom doesn't support Hulu or Netflix through the browser. I could be wrong, but Hulu doesn't have an app with the Android app store either :|

I doubt that there will be an iPad killer if tablets stay how they are.  The problem is that the iPad is the real deal, it was the first one out there, it will stay number 1 if there is absolutely no innovation.  I don't get why this is mirrored all of the time.  See: World of Warcraft, Counter Strike, Call of Duty, etc.

Xoom matched it for the most part, but the Apple brand and quality of build...and quality of...everything is just too powerful to slow down at this point. It's too late in the game for companies to try to beat it out. Apple got started at just the right point, where they could release an innovative new product, and have time to expand on that idea, because they had more time to flesh it out in the first place. Same would be the case if Motorola had tried the tablet in the first place, so in the end it's the matter of timing I think.

Lol, I haven't thought about bigfoot for ages.

I'm pretty sure he's fake, but I'm sure if he's real he's nothing like the way we've been thinking of him. That might be the reason we've never seen him, it's because our minds have pieced together an image that maybe be completely wrong.

Or he could just not exist. those chances are greater, because if there's only one bigfoot, there's no way it can reproduce. So how was it created? It can't live forever, nothing does. So...I really don't know, I'm leaning heavily towards no.

Thanks for the input so far.

Update: The link I posted is for the bare kit, equipment sold separately, so that's why it's so cheap. It's looking more like this right now. That will drain more of my savings, but in reality not much more than the initial kit I posted so...yeah...nothing really changes.
