Fancy, I dig it. A skyscraper is a lot easier to make continuous and elegant even if different members have different styles.

so
I'm assuming nobody else made the assumption that that was a joke

It didn't read as a joke to me, it read as terrible.

Maybe I haven't played enough of the games to get the mentality of the series...but I was encouraged to learn more or want to play.

I've had a new-ish idea for a space station.

I would start by making a specific kind of module-lock, then everyone would have a part of the station to build, connected by these connector/lock affairs. Some parts would be repeated, like halls, living modules, laboratories, station utilities, etc; others would be few or singular, like lounges, hangar, docking port, etc.

How does this roll with the local masses?

The space station idea is cool, but the idea seems very similar to that of the HQ: users add their own pieces to a larger product. I think that it would be considerably more difficult to apply the same HQ idea to a space station and still have such continuity as the HQ does. In other words, it's a lot harder to make the station flow as a unit. It would look fragmented, as each member has a different building style. Just a consideration, although there aren't many other ways to go at a group project, you know?

There isn't that much we can do that nobody on BL hasn't already done. Whatever we do has a good chance of having been done by someone else before.

If we wanted to try a novelty as best, I have a friend applying for the clan who has a fairly unique way of building things.

Because of the inability to achieve total originality (nearly), I think we should disregard originality as a factor in considering our builds. We should just look into building something that we would rock the forget out of. Sure, people may have done something like a space station or City RP before, but if we really want to, I have no doubt that we would be able to make it our own and make it something incredible.

The trailer completely overdid the "one word at a time in stroke inducing flashes" concept. At it looks just like SR3. Probably won't be getting this.

What about some kind of an inner city RP, like a GTA lol

I don't like heading in the direction of City RP for a couple reasons, one being the obvious lack of originality. I know it's hard to be completely original, but City RP's have been around forever and are extraordinarily common. And to make a complete, top-notch quality City RP, you have to sacrifice one of a few key aspects that would make it great. Some give up detailed building for the sake of brick count and size, some give up player freedom because of the userbase, some give up authenticity and detail in the City RP system, as an extremely basic City add-on is of course the most used and accessible to users.

Bottom line, ideally, no.

I'd like to do a project that more closely integrations architecture with the engineering division, any suggestions? Perhaps an RPG map? A sports/entertainment arena?

You guys know that you can pull off the blocks and reassemble them right?

1. Cubers use this to clean/lubricate the rotating mechanisms
2. If you flip a corner piece or something, it's obviously cheating in competitive situations.

The guitarist in my band can solve a 3x3 cube sub 16 or so, I don't remember his record.

Today he told, while cubing, that his parents took away his 4x4, his 5x5, and his good 3x3 because his grades are bad. But he keeps a spare 3x3 so he can still cube. What a loving badass, right?

At first I thought you were the one shutting her down, I thought you were so loving alpha I was prepared to give you props. But then I got my colors straight and let me tell you: don't just say "i'm sorry" and take stuff from people, solve the problem. She bitches you out about only talking to her online? Well isn't loving ironic that she bitches to you ONLINE about talking in person. If she had such a problem with it, she'd at least try to talk to you in person. And hopefully she hasn't, and you're not just bad at social interaction. Because then you have no case to shut her down with.

Give yourself a damn chance to talk to her in person, and get this stuff straight. No reason to wimp out and let this bridge burn just because you couldn't overcome a problem.

Welcome to life.

I'd like to run a project, but I'm afraid I don't have the time to commit to a big project at the moment...last semester of high school, here. I'll get on this weekend.

I'm guessing you will post when we go back to the old map Trifax?

I will, of course, be keeping you guys up to date here, and on our facebook page (facebook.com/kodleeshare). Check the important information section of the OP, I keep that updated.

.... also will we keep our stats on mctop or will it be reset.

I don't see any reason to reset them, they'll probably stay as they are.
