I pop open the canopy and rub the side of my plane
"Man, shes a beaut." I say.
I hop in the seat, with my ass hurting because I hit it so hard.
I say to ATC "This is Foxtrot 1-4 Callsign 'Dust' Clearance to taxi to runway, over"
"You are cleared to go"
I buzz on the radio "This is Foxtrot 1-4 Callsign 'Dust', im gonna be flying for a bit."
"Your'e cleared to go, no bogies." AWACS replies
I shout "Yes!" and close the canopy and pop the engines up a little and start taxiing down to the runway.
"This is Foxtrot 1-4 Callsign 'Dust' cleared to take off over?"
"This is ATC, You are cleared to go."
"Whooo!" I say, as I pump up the engines all the way and lower the flaps.
In no time, i'm off the runway
"Holy stuff! That was amazing!" I say as I pass the clouds.
"Alright, lets take it back" as I'm about 3 miles from the runway, and lowering the thrust to the engines.
"This is Foxtrot 1-4 Callsign 'Dust' Clearance to land, over?"
"Your'e cleared to land Dust. Happy flying."
I lower the flaps and make a good landing.
"I'm gonna name it 'Sweetness' ." I say.
I open the canopy, go back to my quarters and grab my paint and brush.
I paint "Sweetness" in yellow cursive letters.
"Welcome to the crew, I say to myself."
