Depends.

780 is way better at anisotropic filtering.

290 is way better at high resolutions.

So if you want to play with insanely high resolution, or with 3 monitors, the 290 is a better purchase. I think the 780 isn't worth the extra $200 though, the 290x is amazing enough.

The thing I don't like about this video is not including Portal - Portal 2.
I think it Portal 2 could definitely happen during the part where humans stay underground.

In Portal it clearly shows the outside, and no nuclear fallout has happened.

It'd have to happen earlier.

Like, you somehow got a hold of a really old CAT 4 cable or some stuff.

But that's unlikely now that I think of it.

Every 'cringe' thing I just kind of laugh at. I know I'm better than them, why cringe at their stupidity if it doesn't affect me?

Still no one's answered my question. :c If I get a WiFi card with a faster Mbps than my internet provides, will I see an increase of speed or will it just be bottlenecked by my internet?

do you have anything to back this up except assumptions that poor people's families have saved up money
8k is half of what a minimum wage worker doing 40hrs a week makes in a year
and then they'res no guarantee they're going to get a better paying job
and the 2 years wont get you a degree, be realistic you're going to a college for a minimum at 4 for a degree (this is assuming this is 8k for 2 years, not one)

With proper budgeting and not being stupid with your money, you could make it.
 Seriously, poor people CAN go to college. It's not a fantasy, it can be done, and it is done.
