Okay kiddies

its that time again

i want a new PC.

I use two monitors, and i mainly use my PC for games, recording games, hosting servers AND playing on them (all on the same machine), and most of the time, hosting, playing, in a skype call, and browsing using chrome all at the same time. I want something STRONGER!

My budget is $1000 this time around

whats the fastest, swaggiest, most powerhouse PC i can build with $1000?

the PC i have costed $600 and it can do these things pretty loving damn well (except recording), but its not enough.

i have some requirements though

1TB Hard Drive + an SSD that is over 32 GB
support for dual monitors
no funky ass futuristic $999 case

any help?

I had a bad time with the Microsoft keyboards I bought in the past.
Did it touch you in the wrong places?

Edit: Can anyone recommend a cheap laptop? When I say cheap, I mean between 0-200.
I'd prefer it not be clunky and gross looking, but hey, beggars can't be choosers. I just want to use this for basic use when I'm traveling.

i love the forget out of it.  see the button above numlock?  that's a calculator button.  idfk why, but hey in case i'm ever gaming with my homies and they ask a math question, you can bet your ass who has the answer first (not me)

seriously though, it's really nice.  the keys are large like a typical keyboard but they're soft and quiet, they're quieter than me typing quietly on my old keyboard.  i don't use the macro functions or whatever, but i imagine they probably work well (don't take my word).  backlight is nice and ambient.  my only problem is that there is no "stop" media button like my old keyboard did, but w/e.
forget I miss the calculator button from my laptop. Answer questions 'n stuff and look smart.

It will arrive in 2 days
Looks lovey.
I enjoy reading the friends complaining about Windows 8. I've had 0 compatibility issues, and the new start menu is actually nice. If they took more than 2 hours to try it out, they'd understand.

I've heard that some laptops have an extra graphics card slot. Can't remember what it is called.
It is possible to upgrade .1% of laptops, but the chance of that is... you can tell from the percentage.

There isn't even a PC express slot on your laptop, so I have a feeling you can't upgrade.

Is there any way I can get a new graphics card in this thing? I mean really. It has intel HD 3000.

You can't upgrade laptops, the only thing you can change in a laptop is the hard drive and RAM.

Here's my advice, it got me through 3 years easily.

Establish yourself in a group, and don't be hated by the group. I joined marching band Freshman Year, best decision of my life. I met my girlfriend there, and met a bunch of friends. A lot of them being seniors, so you're already pretty high up in the chain.

Don't piss off anyone. Stick to you and your friends. With that being said, don't be an awkward freak when you're with someone you don't know. Try to make as many friends as possible. It's like a game. Once you make friends, don't keep them off, hang out with them outside of school from time to time. I just went to an amusement park today with a bunch of friends, some I haven't seen most of the year, and god it was fun. Keep your friends close.

Keep a close ring of friends. Make it consist of your top bros, maybe your girl. Make sure you 100% trust them, and seriously, when you need someone to talk to, go to these guys. I bottled up my feelings most of my life. After being able to talk about them, I've felt so much better and confident about my life.

If a friend is abusive, a douche, or a general richardhead. Just leave him. He's a roosterface, and you deserve better than him. I've made a mistake of keeping a guy like that around, and he's done nothing but piss me off, so I told him how it was, and he's left me alone from there. We talk a bit, though, and he isn't that bad anymore. I'm still keeping him off my friends list.

That's about all I'll cover with you, because I could keep going with this for awhile.

Don't you need your General Ed.?

I thought they made that a requirement at college.
