The customer reviews don't look promising.

A lot of reviews don't look promising. When you buy something new that works amazingly, most people don't give it a good review. I got a new mouse yesterday with sketchy reviews, it works amazingly, but I'm too lazy to give it a good review.
DOA? Doesn't work properly? Write a bad review on it. Complain, let your voice be heard, yada yada. Most people review just to express theirs doesn't work. It's how reviews work.

so me and a few friends got together to build a computer that can steadily perform on a projector screen without having really stuffty quality.

Running crossfired 7990's, it looks loving amazing.

I'll post a video later of us in the basement playing battlefield 3 max settings on a projector running 4096 x 2160 resolution, and it looking loving amazing.

Hold on, let me just pull down my pants and...

i dont know the exact wattage my current power supply has. but it's certainly alot greater than a 400W power supply

What's your new GPU?  Generally you shouldn't use up more than 70% of your power supply.

With a computer that powerful, recycling HDD's isn't a good idea.
Chances are you'll recycle a 5400 or 7200 RPM HDD, which is going to suck richard.
Best bet is to boot from a 32GB SSD and then use your current HDD's as mass storage

I have a 120GB SSD that I'll be using to boot from, then a 2TB HDD for mass storage.

I just kinda grabbed the first one I saw. $20 is only a minor difference though. But yeah, wasting $20 is pointless.

Should I go with dual 7870's, or a single 7970? Also, how is the monitor? I don't know stuff about those.
I'll be using my hard drives and optical drive from my current computer. Almost decided on recycling RAM, but felt it's a bad idea.
